2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

1. Carefully remove the PC case from its packaging.

3. Remove all internal packaging materials and accessories.

2.2 Component Installation

The 5000D RS ARGB case offers a modular design for flexible component placement and cooling solutions.

• Motherboard Installation: Install your ATX, Micro ATX, or Extended ATX motherboard onto the standoffs. Ensure proper alignment and secure with screws. The case supports reverse connection motherboards like ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero, and Gigabyte Project Stealth for cleaner cable management.

• Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation: Mount your PSU in the designated compartment, typically at the bottom rear of the case.
• Storage Drive Installation: Install your 2.5-inch SSDs and 3.5-inch HDDs into the drive bays.

• Fan Mounting: Utilize the InfiniRail™ fan mounting system to easily slide and mount fans up to 200mm (140mm in the roof) wherever needed for targeted airflow. The case comes with four RS140 ARGB fans pre-installed.

Once your components are installed, operating the PC case primarily involves utilizing its front I/O ports and managing the ARGB lighting of the included fans.

3.1 Front I/O Connectivity

The front panel provides convenient access to essential ports:

• Power Button: To power on/off your system.
• 3.5mm Combo Audio Jack: For connecting headphones or headsets.
• 4x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A Ports: For connecting various USB devices.
• 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C Port: For high-speed data transfer and device connectivity.

3.2 ARGB Fan Control

The four included RS140 ARGB fans are daisy-chainable and connect to your compatible motherboard. You can control their lighting effects and fan speed through your motherboard's software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion) or CORSAIR's iCUE software if connected to a compatible CORSAIR controller (sold separately).

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your PC case and components.

4.1 Dust Filter Cleaning

The CORSAIR 5000D RS ARGB case is equipped with removable dust filters to prevent dust buildup inside your system. It is recommended to clean these filters every 1-3 months, depending on your environment.

1. Power off your PC and unplug it from the wall outlet.
2. Locate and remove the dust filters (typically found on the front, top, and bottom of the case).
3. Gently tap the filters to dislodge loose dust, or use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove accumulated dust.
4. For heavily soiled filters, you may rinse them with water (ensure they are completely dry before reinstallation).
5. Reinstall the clean dust filters.

4.2 General Case Cleaning

Wipe down the exterior of the case with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish.

5.3 USB Ports Not Functioning

• Internal USB Headers: Confirm that the internal USB 3.0 (for Type-A) and USB 3.2 Gen 2 (for Type-C) cables from the front panel are correctly plugged into the corresponding headers on your motherboard.
• Driver Issues: Ensure your motherboard's chipset and USB drivers are up to date.
