The KRUX Empero case is designed to accommodate ATX motherboards and offers extensive cooling options and component compatibility.

2. Product Features

3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper component installation.
4.1 Removing Panels
- Carefully remove the tempered glass side panel by unscrewing the thumb screws at the rear of the case.
- Remove the front glass panel if necessary for fan or radiator installation.
4.2 Motherboard Installation
- Install the I/O shield into the rear opening of the case.
- Align your ATX motherboard with the pre-installed standoffs.
- Secure the motherboard using the provided screws.
4.3 Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation
The KRUX Empero features a dual-chamber design. The PSU is installed in the rear chamber.
- Mount the PSU to the PSU bracket, typically located at the rear bottom of the case.
- Slide the PSU with its bracket into the designated compartment and secure it with screws.
4.4 Storage Drive Installation
The case supports multiple storage drives. Refer to the case interior for specific mounting points for 2.5" SSDs and 3.5" HDDs.
- Secure 2.5" SSDs to the dedicated mounting plates, often found behind the motherboard tray.
- Install 3.5" HDDs into the drive cages, usually located in the PSU shroud area.
4.5 Graphics Card (GPU) Installation
The case supports GPUs up to 420mm in length.
- Remove the necessary PCIe slot covers at the rear of the case.
- Insert the GPU into the appropriate PCIe slot on your motherboard.
- Secure the GPU with screws.
4.6 Cooling System Installation
The case comes with four 120mm ARGB PWM fans pre-installed. Additional fans or liquid coolers can be added.
- Fans: The case supports various fan configurations. Ensure proper airflow direction (intake/exhaust).
- Liquid Coolers: Radiators up to 360mm can be mounted. Consult your liquid cooler's manual for specific installation steps.

4.7 Front I/O Connections
Connect the front panel cables to your motherboard according to your motherboard's manual.
- USB-C: Connect the USB-C header cable to your motherboard's USB 3.2 Gen 2 header.
- USB 3.0: Connect the USB 3.0 header cable to your motherboard's USB 3.0 header.
- USB 2.0: Connect the USB 2.0 header cable to your motherboard's USB 2.0 header.
- HD Audio: Connect the HD Audio cable to your motherboard's audio header.
- Power SW, Reset SW, HDD LED, Power LED: Connect these small connectors to the corresponding pins on your motherboard's front panel header.
- LED Button: Connect the LED button cable to the ARGB controller for lighting control.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On
Once all components are installed and cables are connected, press the power button on the front I/O panel to start your system.
5.2 ARGB Fan Control
The pre-installed ARGB fans are connected to a controller. Use the dedicated LED button on the front I/O panel to cycle through various lighting modes and colors. For advanced control, connect the controller to your motherboard's ARGB header (if available) and use the motherboard's software.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your PC case.
- Dust Filters: The KRUX Empero case includes removable dust filters. Periodically remove and clean these filters with compressed air or water (ensure they are completely dry before reinstallation).
- Glass Panels: Clean tempered glass panels with a soft, lint-free cloth and a glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the surface.
- Interior Cleaning: Use compressed air to remove dust from internal components and fan blades. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during or after installation, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Power: Ensure the PSU is switched on, all power cables (24-pin, 8-pin CPU, GPU PCIe) are securely connected, and the front panel power switch cable is correctly attached to the motherboard.
- Fans Not Spinning/No ARGB: Check fan power connections to the motherboard or controller. Verify ARGB cables are properly connected to the controller and/or motherboard header.
- No Display: Confirm the monitor cable is connected to the graphics card (not the motherboard's integrated graphics port, unless using integrated graphics). Reseat the graphics card and RAM modules.
- USB Ports Not Working: Ensure the front panel USB 3.0 and USB-C cables are correctly connected to the motherboard headers.
