Introduction

This HCDZ replacement remote control is designed for seamless operation with various Tele System DVB-T2/S2 decoders, including models TS4020, TS6816, TS6807, TS6815, TS6822-TWIN, and TS6821. It operates via infrared (IR) technology and requires no programming; simply insert batteries to begin use.

Setup

Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards or outwards to open it.
3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment. Ensure that the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the batteries align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover, ensuring it clicks securely into place.

Note: This remote control requires no programming. Once batteries are correctly installed, it is ready for use with compatible Tele System decoders.

Operating Instructions

To operate your Tele System decoder using this remote control:

1. Ensure your Tele System decoder is powered on and connected to its power source.
2. Point the remote control directly at the infrared (IR) sensor on the front panel of your Tele System decoder.
3. Press the desired function buttons (e.g., Power, Channel Up/Down, Volume Up/Down, Menu) to control your device.
4. Maintain a clear line of sight between the remote control and the decoder's IR sensor. The maximum effective operating range is approximately 8 meters (26 feet).
