2. Safety Instructions

To ensure your safety and prolong the life of your treadmill, please observe the following precautions:

  • Always consult with a physician before starting any exercise program.
  • Place the treadmill on a flat, stable surface with at least 2 meters of clear space behind it and 0.6 meters on each side.
  • Keep children and pets away from the treadmill during operation.
  • Wear appropriate athletic footwear and clothing.
  • Use the safety key at all times. Attach the clip to your clothing before starting your workout.
  • Do not operate the treadmill if it is damaged or malfunctioning.
  • Do not attempt to lubricate the running belt while the treadmill is in operation.

4. Setup Instructions

The YPOO M4438 treadmill comes 95% pre-assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup:

4.1 Unfolding and Securing the Column:

  1. Carefully remove the treadmill from its packaging.
  2. Locate the L-shaped tool and use it to loosen the M10 flat-head hex screws on both sides of the base.
  3. Pull out these screws.
  4. Lift the column of the treadmill upwards until it is in an upright position.
  5. Replace the removed screws with the M10 column mounting knobs (x2) provided. Tighten them by hand until the stepped thread engages the sleeve.
  6. Use the Allen key to firmly tighten the knobs.

4.2 Attaching the Control Panel:

  1. Rotate the control panel clockwise into its operational position.
  2. Locate the M8 control panel mounting knobs (x2).
  3. Insert these knobs into the holes on the inner side of the column. Tighten them by hand.
  4. Use the Allen key to firmly tighten the knobs.

4.3 Adjusting Incline:

The YPOO M4438 features a manual incline. To adjust the incline:

  1. Stop the treadmill and unplug it for safety.
  2. Go to the rear of the treadmill.
  3. Remove the incline bolts from their current position.
  4. Reinsert the bolts into the desired incline holes (Position 1, 2, or 3) on both sides. Ensure both bolts are securely in the same position.
  5. Plug in the treadmill and resume your workout.

4.4 Connecting the Safety Key:

  1. Locate the safety key.
  2. Place the magnetic end of the safety key into the designated safety position on the control panel.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Getting Started:

  1. Ensure the treadmill is properly assembled and plugged into a grounded outlet.
  2. Attach the safety key to the console and clip the other end to your clothing.
  3. Step onto the treadmill, placing your feet on the side rails.
  4. Press the START button on the console. The treadmill will begin with a short countdown before the belt starts moving at a low speed.

5.2 Adjusting Speed:

  • Use the SPEED + and SPEED - buttons to increase or decrease the belt speed.
  • Utilize the quick-speed buttons (e.g., 4 km/h, 9 km/h, 13 km/h) for instant speed changes.

5.3 Adjusting Incline:

The YPOO M4438 features a manual incline. To adjust the incline:

  1. Stop the treadmill and unplug it for safety.
  2. Go to the rear of the treadmill.
  3. Remove the incline bolts from their current position.
  4. Reinsert the bolts into the desired incline holes (Position 1, 2, or 3) on both sides. Ensure both bolts are securely in the same position.
  5. Plug in the treadmill and resume your workout.

5.4 Using Programs:

  • The console offers 12 pre-installed programs. Press the PROGRAM button to cycle through them.
  • Each program has varying speed and duration settings. Refer to the console display for program details.

5.5 YPOOFIT App Connectivity:

  • Download the YPOOFIT app from your device's app store (App Store or Google Play).
  • Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet.
  • Open the YPOOFIT app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your treadmill.
  • The app allows you to track your workout data, access additional programs, and customize your training.

5.6 Stopping the Treadmill:

  • Press the STOP button to gradually slow down and stop the treadmill belt.
  • In an emergency, pull the safety key from the console to immediately stop the treadmill.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your treadmill.

6.1 Cleaning:

  • Always unplug the treadmill before cleaning.
  • Wipe down the console and other surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Vacuum under the treadmill regularly to prevent dust and debris buildup.

6.2 Belt Lubrication:

The running belt requires periodic lubrication to reduce friction and wear. Use the provided lubricating oil.

  1. Unplug the treadmill.
  2. Loosen the rear roller bolts slightly to lift the belt.
  3. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant (provided) evenly under the center of the running belt.
  4. Tighten the rear roller bolts.
  5. Plug in the treadmill and walk on it at a low speed for a few minutes to spread the lubricant.
  6. Lubricate every 1-2 months depending on usage.

6.3 Belt Adjustment:
