Setup and Installation
The Garvee Portable Air Conditioner is designed for quick and easy installation. Follow these steps to set up your unit.
Choosing a Location
- Place the unit on a flat, stable surface near a window and a grounded electrical outlet.
- Ensure there is at least 20 inches (50 cm) of clear space around the unit for proper airflow.
Window Kit Installation
- Attach the exhaust hose to the unit's exhaust outlet and the hose connector.
- Adjust the window vent kit to fit your window opening. The kit is suitable for double-hung or sliding windows.
- Secure the window kit in place.
- Connect the hose connector to the opening in the window vent kit.
- Ensure all connections are secure to prevent air leakage.

Operating Instructions
Your Garvee Portable Air Conditioner offers three primary operating modes: Cool, Dehumidify, and Fan.
Control Panel and Remote Control
The unit can be controlled using the LED touch panel on top of the unit or the included remote control. Both offer similar functionalities.

Operating Modes

- Cool Mode: Provides powerful cooling for rooms up to 450 sq.ft. Set your desired temperature between 61°F and 88°F (16°C and 31°C).
- Dehumidify Mode (Dry): Reduces humidity in the room, extracting up to 50 pints (23.6 liters) of moisture per day. The fan operates at a low speed in this mode.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Choose between High and Low fan speeds.
Additional Features
- Timer: Program the unit to turn on or off automatically within a 24-hour period.
- Sleep Mode: Activates quiet operation and gradually adjusts the temperature for comfortable sleep. The noise level is approximately 51 dB.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air conditioner.
Cleaning the Air Filter
- Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
- Locate and remove the air filter from the back or side of the unit.
- Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or wash it with warm, soapy water.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling.
- Clean the air filter every two weeks or more frequently if the unit is used often.
Draining Water
The unit will automatically evaporate most of the condensed water. However, in high humidity conditions, the internal water tank may fill up. The unit will stop operating and display an error code (e.g., "FL" for full tank). To drain:
- Unplug the unit.
- Place a shallow pan or tray under the drain port at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
- Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.
Storage
Before storing the unit for an extended period:
- Drain all condensed water completely.
- Clean the air filter.
- Run the unit in fan-only mode for a few hours to dry the interior.
- Store the unit in a dry, upright position, covered to protect it from dust.
