4. Setup

4.1 First-Time Pairing

  1. Ensure the headphones are powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Rotary Button for 2 seconds until the indicator light flashes white and green, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth.
  4. Search for "iKF-Mars" in the Bluetooth device list and select it to connect.
  5. Once connected, the indicator light will stop flashing.

4.2 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Long press the Rotary Button for 2 seconds. You will hear a prompt.
  • Power Off: Long press the Rotary Button for 3 seconds. You will hear a prompt, and the headphones will disconnect.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Media Functions

  • Play/Pause: Single tap the Rotary Button.
  • Next Song: Double-tap the Rotary Button.
  • Previous Song: Triple-tap the Rotary Button.
  • Increase Volume: Turn the Rotary Button clockwise.
  • Decrease Volume: Turn the Rotary Button counter-clockwise.

5.2 Call Functions

  • Answer Incoming Call: Double-tap the MFB (Multi-Function Button).
  • Hang Up Call: Four-tap the MFB.
  • Reject Call: Long press and hold the MFB for 2 seconds.

5.3 Voice Assistant Operation

  • Activate Voice Assistant: Triple-tap the MFB.
  • Deactivate Voice Assistant: Triple-tap the MFB again.

5.4 Switching Modes (ANC/Transparency)

The iKF Mars headphones offer Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency Mode.

  • Switch Modes: Single click the MFB to cycle through Music Mode, Noise-Canceling Mode, and Transparency Mode.
  • Adjust ANC Levels: Noise cancellation depth can be adjusted via the iKF App (Adaptive, Mild, Moderate, Strong).

5.5 Spatial Audio

Experience immersive 360° spatial sound with dynamic head tracking.

  • Enable/Disable Spatial Audio: Long press the MFB for 2 seconds.
  • Calibrate Spatial Audio: Double press the MFB.

Important Notes:

  • Spatial audio, game mode, and movie mode cannot be active simultaneously. When spatial audio is turned on, game mode/movie mode will be turned off.
  • When spatial audio is turned on, double-clicking calibration will not trigger game/movie mode.
  • Turning on spatial audio mode will not affect noise reduction/transparency mode switching.

5.6 Wired Connection

The iKF Mars headphones support both 3.5mm AUX and Type-C wired connections.

  • 3.5mm Audio Cable: Insert the 3.5mm interface audio cable into the headphone's 3.5mm port. Bluetooth will automatically turn off, switching to Aux-in wired playback.
  • Type-C Audio Cable: The Type-C/USB port supports both charging and audio. When a Type-C audio cable is inserted into the headset, it can be switched to a wired connection.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Gently wipe the earcups and headband with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents.
  • Avoid getting moisture into any openings.

6.2 Storage

  • Store the headphones in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • When not in use, store them in their protective case to prevent damage.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your iKF Mars headphones, try the following solutions:

  • No Power: Ensure the headphones are fully charged. Connect them to a power source using the Type-C cable.
  • Cannot Pair: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the headphones are in pairing mode (indicator light flashing white and green). Try restarting both the headphones and your device.
  • No Sound: Check the volume levels on both the headphones and your connected device. Ensure the headphones are correctly paired or the wired connection is secure.
  • Poor Sound Quality: Move closer to your connected device to avoid interference. Ensure there are no obstacles between the headphones and the device. For wired connections, check the cable for damage.
  • Reset Operation: In the power-on state, long press the Rotary Button and MFB for 5 seconds to reset the headphones. This can resolve various software-related issues.
