Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 4 inches of clearance on all sides for proper airflow and ventilation. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, it is recommended to perform an initial cleaning cycle.
   • Fill the water reservoir with clean water up to the MAX line.
   • Press and hold the "Ice/Clean" button for 5 seconds to activate the self-cleaning mode. The cycle will take approximately 15 minutes.
   • Once the cleaning cycle is complete, drain the water from the reservoir (refer to the Maintenance section for draining instructions).
   • Rinse the reservoir with fresh water and drain again. Your ice maker is now ready for use.

Operating Instructions

1. Adding Water: Open the top lid and remove the ice basket. Fill the water reservoir with clean, potable water up to the "MAX" fill line indicated inside the reservoir. Do not overfill.
2. Starting Ice Production: Briefly press the "Ice/Clean" button. The indicator light will turn blue, signifying that ice production has started.
3. Ice Production Time: The first batch of nugget ice will be ready in approximately 7 minutes. Subsequent batches will be produced continuously as long as water is available.
4. Ice Full Indicator: The "Ice Full" indicator light will illuminate when the ice basket is full, and the machine will pause ice production.
5. Add Water Indicator: The "Add Water" indicator light will illuminate when the water reservoir is low, and the machine will pause ice production. Refill the reservoir to resume.
6. Ice Retrieval: Use the provided ice scoop to retrieve ice from the basket. The detachable ice basket can be easily removed for convenient access.

Maintenance

1. Automatic Cleaning:
   • Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
   • Press and hold the "Ice/Clean" button for 5 seconds. The machine will begin a 15-minute self-cleaning cycle, circulating water through its internal components.
   • After the cycle, drain the water from the machine.
2. Regular Cleaning: For thorough cleaning, it is recommended to clean the ice maker once a week or as needed.
   • Unplug the ice maker from the power outlet.
   • Remove the ice basket and wash it with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
   • Wipe the interior of the water reservoir and ice-making components with a soft cloth dampened with a mixture of water and a small amount of white vinegar (or a food-grade cleaning solution).
   • Drain any remaining cleaning solution. Rinse the interior thoroughly with clean water multiple times to remove any residue.
   • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
3. Draining Water: To drain the water reservoir, locate the drain plug at the bottom of the unit. Place a container underneath and remove the plug to allow water to flow out. Once drained, securely replace the plug.
