3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Component Overview and Placement
The system is designed for both exterior and interior installation of various components. The keypad is typically installed on the exterior for access, while the exit button is placed on the interior. The magnetic lock is mounted on the door frame and door.

3.2 Keypad Installation
The access control keypad is IP68 rated for outdoor use. Mount it securely at a convenient height near the door.

3.3 Magnetic Lock Installation
Install the 1200LB magnetic lock on the door frame and the armature plate on the door. Ensure proper alignment for maximum holding force.

3.4 Power Supply Controller
The power supply controller converts AC 110V-240V to DC 12V (3A) for the system. It features various terminals for connecting all components.

The time delay adjustment potentiometer allows setting the lock release duration from 0 to 15 seconds. Rotate clockwise to increase the delay.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Keypad Access
To gain access using the keypad, enter your pre-programmed password followed by the '#' key. The lock will disengage for the set duration.
4.2 RFID Card Access
Present a registered RFID card or key fob to the keypad's reader area. The lock will disengage upon successful verification.
4.3 Remote Control Access
Press the button on the remote control to momentarily disengage the magnetic lock, allowing entry or exit.
4.4 Tuya App Remote Access
For remote access via the Tuya App, ensure the power supply controller is connected to your network and paired with the app. Use the app interface to remotely lock or unlock the door.
4.5 Exit Button Operation
From the inside, press the push-to-exit button to release the magnetic lock and open the door.
5. Maintenance
- Regularly inspect all wiring connections for signs of wear or damage.
- Keep the keypad surface clean from dirt and debris to ensure proper touch functionality.
- Check the magnetic lock and armature plate for proper alignment and ensure no obstructions prevent full contact.
- Test all access methods (keypad, RFID, remote, exit button) periodically to confirm functionality.
6. Troubleshooting
- System Not Powering On: Verify the power cable connection and check the power supply unit's input voltage. Ensure the power outlet is functional.
- Magnetic Lock Not Engaging/Disengaging: Check all wiring to the magnetic lock and power supply. Ensure the armature plate is correctly aligned with the electromagnet. Verify the power supply is providing 12V output.
- Keypad Not Responding: Check the keypad's power connection. Ensure no physical damage to the keypad.
- Remote Control Not Working: Check battery in remote. Ensure the remote control function is properly configured on the power supply controller.
- Tuya App Connectivity Issues: Verify your Wi-Fi network is active and the power supply controller is within range. Re-pair the device with the Tuya App if necessary.
- Exit Button Not Working: Inspect wiring from the exit button to the power supply controller.
