- Always connect the appliance to a grounded electrical outlet.
- Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Supervise children when the appliance is in use, especially when dispensing hot water, due to the risk of scalding.
- Place the appliance on a stable, level surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

3. Setup
Follow these steps for initial setup of your water cooler.
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Place the unit on a flat, stable countertop. Ensure there is at least 4 inches of clearance from walls for proper ventilation.
3.2 Filter Flushing and Installation
Before installing the filters into the unit, they must be flushed to remove carbon fines.
- Connect the provided filter flushing housing and tubing to a cold water tap.
- Attach the sediment filter (Stage 1) to the flushing housing.
- Run water through the sediment filter for 5 minutes or until the water runs clear.
- Repeat the flushing process for the carbon block filter (Stage 2).
- Once flushed, install the sediment filter into the designated 'Stage 1' slot and the carbon block filter into the 'Stage 2' slot inside the unit. Twist to secure.
3.3 CO2 Cylinder Installation
This unit requires a 60L screw-in type CO2 cylinder with M18x1.5 thread (not included).
- Open the side panel of the water cooler.
- Carefully screw the CO2 cylinder into the designated port until hand-tight. Do not overtighten.
- Close the side panel.
3.4 Water Tank Filling or Direct Water Line Connection
Choose one of the following methods to supply water to your cooler:
Method A: Refillable Water Tank
- Remove the 5-liter water tank from the unit.
- Fill the tank with potable water.
- Carefully place the filled tank back into its position on the unit.
Method B: Direct Water Line Connection (Optional)
For continuous water supply, the unit can be connected to a cold-water line. Consult a qualified plumber if you are unsure about this installation.
- Locate the water inlet port at the back of the unit.
- Connect the provided water line tubing to the unit and to your cold-water supply. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.
- Slowly open the water supply valve to allow water to flow into the unit.

3.5 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The unit will begin heating and cooling water. Allow approximately 15-30 minutes for water to reach desired temperatures.
4. Operating Instructions
The Brio Sparkling 600 Series features a user-friendly touch-sensitive LED interface.
4.1 Control Panel Functions
- Lock Button: Activates/deactivates the child safety lock for hot water. Press and hold for a few seconds to unlock before dispensing hot water.
- Hot Button: Dispenses hot water.
- Room Button: Dispenses room temperature water.
- Cold Button: Dispenses cold water.
- Sparkling Button: Dispenses sparkling water.
- Replace Filters Indicator: Illuminates when filters need replacement.
- Replace CO2 Indicator: Illuminates when the CO2 cylinder needs replacement.
4.2 Dispensing Water
- Place your cup or container under the dispenser nozzle.
- For hot water, press and hold the Lock button for a few seconds until it unlocks, then press and hold the Hot button.
- For room, cold, or sparkling water, simply press and hold the corresponding button.
- Release the button when your desired amount of water has been dispensed.


5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your water cooler.
5.1 Cleaning the Exterior and Drip Tray
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- The drip tray can be removed and washed with mild soap and water. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.
5.2 Filter Replacement
The 'Replace Filters' indicator will illuminate when it's time to change your filters. Recommended replacement schedule may vary based on water quality and usage.
- Replacement Filter Set: Brio MIB200PKF
- Sediment Filter Only: Brio NFMPP5M
- Carbon Block Filter Only: Brio NFMCTO5MS2
To replace filters, turn off the water supply and power to the unit. Twist the old filters counter-clockwise to remove. Install new, pre-flushed filters by twisting clockwise until secure. Turn on water and power, then flush a few cups of water to remove any air.
5.3 CO2 Cylinder Replacement
The 'Replace CO2' indicator will illuminate when the cylinder is empty.
- Ensure the unit is not actively dispensing sparkling water.
- Open the side panel and unscrew the empty CO2 cylinder.
- Install a new 60L CO2 cylinder (M18x1.5 thread) as described in Section 3.3.
5.4 Automatic UV Self-Cleaning
This unit features an automatic UV-C self-cleaning cycle that sanitizes the cold water tank to reduce biofilm buildup and other contaminants. This process runs automatically and requires no user intervention.
