1. Product Overview
The VEVOR 500W Macerator Pump is a powerful and efficient wastewater treatment system designed for residential and industrial applications. It features a robust copper motor, an oil-lubricated design for high temperature resistance, and an antimicrobial silver ion water tank to prevent odors. With a maximum head lift of 8 meters and a flow rate of 6600 L/h, this pump is ideal for handling wastewater from toilets, showers, sinks, and washing machines in various settings, especially where gravity drainage is not feasible.

2. Safety Information
Please read all safety instructions carefully before installation and operation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, serious injury, or property damage.
- Always disconnect the power supply before performing any installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
- Ensure the electrical supply matches the voltage requirements of the pump (230V).
- The appliance is equipped with thermal protection. If it overheats, it will cut off power for approximately 2 hours. Do not reconnect until the unit has cooled down.
- Do not expose the unit to temperatures below 00C (320F) or above 500C (1220F).
- This unit is designed for human excrement and soluble toilet paper only. Do not flush cotton, tampons, sanitary napkins, panty liners, food, condoms, towels, hair, solvents, or oils, as this will cause damage and void the warranty.
- Ensure all connections are watertight to prevent leaks.
- Install the unit in a well-ventilated area.
3. Installation and Setup
3.1 Pre-installation Checklist
- Verify all components listed in the "What's in the Box" section are present.
- Ensure the installation area is clean, dry, and has adequate space for the pump and connections.
- Confirm access to a suitable electrical outlet.
- Plan the routing for inlet pipes (toilet, shower, sink) and the discharge pipe.
3.2 Installation Steps
- Positioning the Pump: Place the macerator pump on a stable, level surface, ideally behind the toilet or in an accessible location near the fixtures it will serve. The unit is compact and can fit in most shallow spaces.
- Connecting the Toilet: Connect the toilet outlet to the main inlet of the macerator pump using the provided toilet connection ring and clamp. Ensure a secure, watertight seal. The unit is designed for horizontal toilets with a standard 18 cm outlet from the floor center.
- Connecting Other Fixtures: Connect additional fixtures (shower, sink, washing machine) to the auxiliary inlets using the provided inlet hoses and clamps. The unit has three inlets for versatility. Ensure all connections are gravity-fed into the unit.
- Discharge Pipe Connection: Connect the discharge pipe to the pump's outlet. If the wastewater is discharged horizontally, the pipe must have a minimum inclination of 1%. If discharging upwards, the horizontal pipe should not exceed 30 cm before the vertical rise. Use radius bends instead of 90-degree right-angle elbows to prevent blockages.
- Vent Pipe Connection: Connect a vent pipe to the designated vent outlet on the pump. This ensures proper air circulation and prevents vacuum issues.
- Electrical Connection: Once all plumbing connections are secure, plug the pump into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the power supply is off before plugging in.

4. Operation
The VEVOR Macerator Pump operates automatically. Once installed and connected to power, it will activate when wastewater enters the unit, macerating solids and pumping the liquid to the discharge point. The built-in check valve prevents backflow of fluid, eliminating the need for an external check valve.
- Ensure the unit is always connected to a power source when in use.
- The pump is designed for low-noise operation, minimizing disturbance.
- The unit will automatically start and stop as needed based on water levels.
5. Maintenance
The VEVOR Macerator Pump is designed to be largely maintenance-free. However, regular inspection and occasional cleaning are recommended to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
5.1 Regular Cleaning
- Periodically clean the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- For internal cleaning, specialized macerator cleaner solutions can be used following the product's instructions.
5.2 Inspection
- Regularly check all pipe connections for any signs of leaks.
- Ensure the vent pipe is clear and unobstructed.
- Listen for any unusual noises during operation, which could indicate a blockage or mechanical issue.
5.3 Anti-Microbial Feature
The silver ion water tank effectively inhibits bacterial growth and prevents odor generation, reducing the need for frequent internal cleaning. This feature allows for long-term use without extensive maintenance.
6. Troubleshooting
This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter with your macerator pump. For problems not listed here or if solutions do not resolve the issue, please contact VEVOR customer support.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Appliance operates intermittently | Connected pipes are leaking. The check valve is leaking. | Check the installation for leaks. Clean or replace the check valve. |
| Motor runs, but water drains slowly | The aerator in the cover is blocked. | Clean the aerator. |
| Motor runs continuously or for extended periods | Drain height or length is too great, or too many elbows are used. The pump is blocked. | Check the installation and pipe routing. Disconnect power, disassemble the pump, and clear the blockage. |
| Motor does not turn on | Power supply is off. The electrical outlet is faulty. Problem with the motor or sensor. | Turn on the power. Repair or use a different outlet. Remove the cover, clean, and dry the sensor. |
| Motor vibrates with noise | A foreign object is in the motor. | Remove the cover, clean, and remove the object. |
| Motor hums but does not turn | The capacitor is faulty or there is a motor issue. A foreign object is in the motor. | Contact a qualified specialist or the supplier. Remove the cover, clean, and remove the object. |
