4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation:

1. Prepare the Surface: Clean the desired mounting surface thoroughly using the provided cleaning kit (wet and dry wipes). Ensure the surface is free of dust, oil, and debris.
2. Choose Adhesion Method:
   • For smooth, non-textured surfaces (e.g., glass, smooth plastic), you can directly apply the suction cup.
   • For rough or textured surfaces (e.g., textured dashboards, wood, hard leather), use the included Round PC Pad or Nano Gel Pads.
   • If using the Round PC Pad: Peel off its protective film and firmly apply it to the installation area. This pad is designed for one-time positioning.
   • If using the Nano Gel Pads: These are washable and reusable. Peel off the protective film and apply to the surface.
3. Attach the Mount: Place the suction cup of the phone holder onto the prepared surface or applied pad. Press the top of the phone holder with one hand to release air from the bottom.
4. Secure the Vacuum Seal: With your other hand, turn the knob on the base clockwise towards the "TIGHT" indicator until it cannot turn further. This creates the vacuum seal.
5. For Non-MagSafe Devices: If your phone or case is not MagSafe compatible, attach the included magnetic ring to the outside of your phone case. Ensure the case is not ring-type, armor, leather, suede, uneven-surface, or glass-back, as these are not compatible with magnetic rings.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed, operating your MSXTTLY phone holder is straightforward:

• Attaching Your Phone: Simply bring your MagSafe-compatible iPhone (or phone with the attached magnetic ring) close to the magnetic ring on the holder. The strong N52 magnets will securely snap your phone into place.
• Adjusting Viewing Angle: The dual-axis folding metal arm allows for extensive adjustment. You can rotate the phone 360° horizontally and adjust the arm 210° vertically to achieve your desired viewing angle. This allows for easy switching between portrait and landscape modes.
• Removing Your Phone: Gently pull your phone away from the magnetic ring. The strong magnetic force ensures a secure hold but allows for easy removal when needed.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning the Suction Cup: If the suction cup loses its grip, it may have accumulated dust or debris. Simply rinse the suction cup under warm water and let it air dry completely. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Cleaning Nano Gel Pads: The MSXTTLY Nano Gel Pads are washable and reusable. If they lose stickiness, rinse them with water and allow them to air dry.
• General Cleaning: Wipe the phone holder with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dust or fingerprints.

7. Troubleshooting

• Mount Not Sticking:
  • Ensure the surface is clean and smooth. Textured or porous surfaces require the use of the included Round PC Pad or Nano Gel Pads.
  • Verify the vacuum seal is properly engaged by turning the knob fully clockwise to "TIGHT".
  • If using an adhesive pad, allow it to stand for at least 2 hours before installing the phone holder.
• Phone Not Holding Securely:
  • Ensure your phone is MagSafe compatible or has the magnetic ring properly attached to the outside of its case.
  • Check that your phone case is not made of incompatible materials (e.g., ring-type, armor, leather, suede, uneven-surface, glass-back).
  • Verify the magnetic ring on the mount is clean and free of obstructions.
• Mount Falls Off in Heat: High temperatures can sometimes affect adhesive pads. If this occurs, clean the area and reapply the pad, ensuring firm pressure. Consider using the vacuum suction directly on a smooth surface if possible, or ensure the adhesive pad is fully cured before use in extreme heat.
