3. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance of your car stereo. It is recommended to consult a professional for installation if you are unfamiliar with car audio wiring.
3.1 Pre-Installation Notes
- You may require an additional installation frame kit, special ISO harness, amplifier adapter, or CANbus decoder depending on your vehicle's specific configuration.
- This unit does not support factory car GPS antenna, backup rear camera, Bluetooth, USB, or microphone. Only JOYING accessories are supported for these functions.
- DAB+ digital radio adapter, DVR, OBDII scanner, reverse camera, TPMS, and steering wheel controller are not included and must be ordered separately if desired.
3.2 Physical Installation
Install the single DIN cage and mounting sleeve into your vehicle's dashboard. Attach the left and right brackets to the head unit. The fixing position of these brackets can be adjusted to fit various car center console designs.

3.3 Wiring Connections
Connect the ISO cable to your vehicle's wiring harness. Ensure all connections are secure. Attach the WiFi, GPS, and 4G antennas to their respective ports on the rear of the unit. Connect the external microphone and USB cables as needed.

3.4 Initial Power On
After installation, turn on your vehicle's ignition. The unit will perform an initial boot-up, which may take 30-40 seconds. Subsequent boot-ups will be significantly faster, typically within 2 seconds.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: The unit powers on automatically with the car ignition.
- Volume Control: Use the physical volume knob on the front panel to adjust audio levels. Press the knob to mute/unmute.
- Fast Boot: The system is designed for quick startup, entering the user interface within 2 seconds after the initial boot.
4.2 Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
Connect your mobile phone via USB cable or Bluetooth to access Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. This allows you to use your phone's apps, navigation, make calls, and listen to music directly on the car stereo's display.

4.3 GPS Navigation
The unit includes precise GPS engines and an antenna for accurate positioning and real-time navigation. You can download Google offline maps for use in areas without internet connectivity. Mobile phone map data can also be synchronized via CarPlay/Android Auto.
4.4 4G Module
Insert a SIM card into the designated slot for internet access. Note that the built-in 4G module supports data services only and cannot be used for making phone calls or sending SMS messages.
4.5 Audio Output
