5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your tool. Always ensure the tool is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the tool's body.
  • Remove any dust or debris from the collet and spindle area using a small brush or compressed air.
  • Clean accessories after each use to prevent buildup that could affect performance.

5.2 Battery Care

To maximize the lifespan of the built-in Lithium-Ion battery:

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Store the tool in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
  • Recharge the tool periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) even if not in use to maintain battery health.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Tool stops during use: The tool has a built-in overload protection. If it encounters excessive pressure, it will stop rotating within 1 second to prevent damage. Reduce pressure and restart the motor. If the issue persists, ensure the accessory is correctly installed and not jammed.
  • Abnormal charging display: Ensure you are using a 5V 2A charging head. For first-time use, charge for at least half an hour. If the machine rests for 10 minutes, the indicator light may turn green even if not fully charged. This is normal behavior.
  • Accessories not staying in/loose: Ensure the collet is correctly installed and tightened. The shaft size of the attachment must match the collet. Mismatched sizes can result in vibrations and loss of control.
