Product Overview and Features

The Apache 3-in-1 Tricycle is designed for adaptability and durability, featuring a robust alloy steel frame and soft wheels suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It transforms easily between three modes:

  1. Ride-On (Correpasillos): Ideal for younger children to push with their feet, developing balance and coordination.
  2. Balance Bike (Bicicleta de Balance): With pedals removed, children can learn to balance and steer using their feet.
  3. Tricycle (Triciclo): With pedals attached, children can practice pedaling and steering, preparing them for a traditional bicycle.

Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this product. Please follow these general steps. Refer to the included assembly diagram for detailed visual instructions.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and verify against the parts list.
  2. Attach Front Wheel and Handlebar: Secure the front wheel assembly to the main frame. Insert the handlebar into the steering column and tighten securely.
  3. Install Seat: Attach the seat to the frame, ensuring it is at an appropriate height for the child's leg length in the desired mode.
  4. Attach Rear Wheels: Depending on the mode, attach the rear wheels. For tricycle mode, ensure both rear wheels are firmly in place. For balance bike or ride-on, the rear wheels might be closer together or configured differently.
  5. Install/Remove Pedals: For tricycle mode, attach the pedals to the front wheel. For ride-on or balance bike mode, remove the pedals and store them safely.
  6. Final Check: Before first use, double-check all screws, bolts, and connections to ensure they are tight and secure.

Operating Instructions

Mode 1: Ride-On (Correpasillos)

This mode is suitable for young children learning to push themselves. Ensure pedals are removed. The child sits on the seat and uses their feet to propel the product forward. This helps develop leg strength and initial balance.

Mode 2: Balance Bike (Bicicleta de Balance)

For children ready to develop advanced balance. Ensure pedals are removed. The child sits on the seat and uses their feet to push off the ground, gliding and learning to balance without the aid of pedals. The seat height should allow the child to place both feet flat on the ground.

Mode 3: Tricycle (Triciclo)

Once the child has mastered balance, attach the pedals. The child sits on the seat, places their feet on the pedals, and uses them to propel the tricycle forward while steering with the handlebar. This mode helps in developing pedaling skills and coordination.

Always supervise your child during use and ensure they are comfortable and confident in each mode before progressing.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the frame and components with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Inspection: Regularly check all bolts, nuts, and screws for tightness. Tighten as necessary.
  • Wheels: Inspect wheels for damage or excessive wear. Ensure they spin freely.
  • Storage: Store the product in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prevent material degradation.
  • Lubrication: Periodically apply a small amount of lubricant to moving parts like pedal axles (if applicable) to ensure smooth operation.

Troubleshooting

  • Loose Parts: If any part feels loose, immediately stop use and tighten all fasteners.
  • Difficulty Steering: Check the handlebar connection and ensure it is properly aligned and secured.
  • Squeaking Noises: Inspect moving parts for friction. A small amount of lubricant may resolve the issue.
  • Product Does Not Roll Smoothly: Check wheels for obstructions or damage. Ensure axles are clean and free of debris.
