1. Introduction and Overview

The Satisure Wireless Door Sensor Chime (Model X6) is designed to enhance safety and security in various environments, including homes, businesses, and for monitoring children or individuals with specific needs. This system provides an audible alert whenever a monitored door or window is opened, ensuring you are immediately aware of activity. It is an ideal solution for preventing toddlers from sneaking out, alerting store owners to new customers, or monitoring the movements of seniors with dementia.

4. Setup and Installation

The Satisure Wireless Door Sensor Chime is designed for quick and easy installation. The door sensor and receiver are pre-paired at the factory, so no complex pairing process is required for initial setup.

1. Mount the Door Sensor: Identify the door or window you wish to monitor. The door sensor consists of two magnetic parts. Attach one part to the door/window frame and the other part to the moving door/window itself. Ensure the two parts are aligned and the distance between them does not exceed 0.4 inches (approximately 1 cm) when the door/window is closed. Use the provided adhesive patches for mounting.

2. Plug in the Chime Receiver: Plug the chime receiver unit into a standard electrical socket in a central location within your home or business, ideally within the 700ft wireless range of the sensor.

Once both steps are completed, the system is ready for use. When the door or window is opened, separating the two sensor parts, the chime receiver will sound an alert.

5. Operating Instructions

The Satisure Wireless Door Sensor Chime operates automatically once installed.

• Triggering the Chime: When the two parts of the magnetic door sensor are separated (i.e., the door or window is opened), the sensor sends a signal to the chime receiver, which then sounds the selected melody and illuminates its RGB indicator.
• Changing Ringtones: The chime receiver typically has a button (often labeled with a music note or similar icon) to cycle through the 58 available ringtones. Press this button to preview different melodies.
• Adjusting Volume: A dedicated volume button (often labeled with a speaker icon) on the chime receiver allows you to cycle through the 5 volume levels (0-110dB).
• Memory Function: The chime receiver retains your last selected ringtone and volume level even if it is unplugged or experiences a power outage.
• Adding More Sensors: To pair additional sensors, refer to the specific instructions provided with the new sensor units. Generally, this involves putting the chime receiver into a pairing mode and then triggering the new sensor.

6. Maintenance

The Satisure Wireless Door Sensor Chime requires minimal maintenance.

• Battery Replacement: The door sensor operates on household alkaline batteries. While designed for long life (up to 7500 triggers), the battery will eventually need replacement. When the sensor's performance degrades (e.g., reduced range, inconsistent triggering), it is likely time to replace the battery. To replace, carefully open the sensor casing (refer to Figure 3.1 for internal view) and insert a new alkaline battery of the specified type.
• Cleaning: Wipe the chime receiver and sensor units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the units in water.
