3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Devices
Place the transmitters (TX) and receiver (RX) into the charging dock. Connect the charging dock to a power source using the provided USB-A to USB-C cable. The indicator lights on the devices will show charging status.
3.2 Connecting to Your Device
- Insert the Lightning Receiver (RX) into the Lightning port of your iPhone.
- Power on the Transmitters (TX). The devices will automatically pair. A blue indicator light on both the TX and RX confirms a successful connection.
3.3 Attaching the Microphone
The transmitters feature an ultra-light magnetic design. Attach the transmitter to your clothing using the magnetic clip. For optimal audio quality, position the microphone close to the sound source.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: The devices power on automatically when removed from the charging case and power off when returned.
- Start/Stop Recording: Triple-click the TX button to start or stop recording on your connected device.
- Mute/Unmute: Double-click the TX button to mute or unmute the microphone. The indicator light will change to red when muted.
4.2 Intelligent Noise Cancellation
The Lark A1 features 3-level intelligent noise cancellation (Weak/Medium/Strong) to filter out ambient noise. This can be adjusted via the LarkSound app.

4.6 Compatibility
The Lightning RX version is compatible with iPhone models (11/11 Pro/11 Pro Max, 12/12 Mini/12 Pro/12 Pro Max, 13/13 Mini/13 Pro/13 Pro Max, 14/14 Plus/14 Pro/14 Pro Max) and iPads with a Lightning interface (iPad Mini series/iPad series). Note: Connecting cameras is not supported with this specific receiver.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Wipe the devices with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents. Ensure the charging contacts are clean and free of debris.
5.2 Storage
Store the Lark A1 system in its provided carrying bag and charging dock when not in use to protect it from dust and damage. Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity.

- No Audio: Ensure the receiver is securely plugged into your device and the transmitters are powered on and paired (blue indicator light). Check the mute status (red indicator light means muted).
- Poor Audio Quality: Adjust noise cancellation levels via the LarkSound app. Ensure the furry windshields are used in windy conditions. Check gain settings in the app.
- Connection Issues: Ensure devices are fully charged. Restart your recording device and the Lark A1 system.
- App Not Connecting: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the LarkSound app is updated to the latest version.
