3. Setup
- Locate the OBD2 Port: The OBD2 port is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side of the vehicle. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual if you cannot locate it.
- Connect the Scanner: With the vehicle's ignition turned off, firmly plug the iKiKin V600's OBD2 connector into the vehicle's OBD2 port.

4.2 Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
Warning: Clearing DTCs will erase all diagnostic data from the vehicle's computer. Ensure any underlying issues have been resolved before clearing codes. Clearing codes without fixing the problem will likely result in the codes reappearing.
- From the main menu or after reading codes, navigate to the "Erase Codes" option and press "OK".
- A confirmation message will appear. Select "YES" to confirm and clear the codes.
- The Check Engine Light (MIL) should turn off after successful clearing.

4.3 Viewing Real-time Data Stream
- Select "Data Stream" from the main menu and press "OK".
- The scanner will display various live sensor data, such as engine RPM, vehicle speed, coolant temperature, and oxygen sensor readings.
- Use the up/down buttons to scroll through the different data parameters.
4.4 I/M Readiness Status
The I/M Readiness function checks the status of the vehicle's emission-related monitoring systems. This is useful for verifying if the vehicle is ready for an emissions test.
- Press the dedicated "I/M" button on the scanner or select "I/M Readiness" from the menu.
- The screen will display the status of various monitors (e.g., Misfire Monitor, Fuel System Monitor, O2 Sensor Monitor) as "OK" or "INC" (Incomplete).
