4. Setup

4.1. Unpacking and Assembly

4.2. Adding Engine Oil

Before first use, add the recommended amount of 10W-30 oil to the engine. The oil fill cap is typically yellow and marked with an 'L'. Use the dipstick to ensure the oil level is correct, filling to the bottom lip as indicated by the diagram on the unit.

4.3. Fueling the Generator

This generator supports dual fuel operation: gasoline or propane (LPG).

• Gasoline: Open the fuel cap on top of the unit and carefully pour gasoline into the tank. The tank capacity is 10 gallons.
• Propane (LPG): Connect a propane tank to the generator using the provided propane regulator and hose. Ensure all connections are secure.

IMPORTANT: Never mix gasoline and propane. Always select the desired fuel type using the fuel selector switch on the control panel before starting.

5. Operation

5.2. Starting the Generator

1. Ensure the generator is on a level surface and all electrical loads are disconnected.
2. Select your desired fuel type (LPG or Gas) using the fuel selector switch.
3. Turn the engine switch to the 'ON' position.
4. Apply choke if starting a cold engine.
5. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the 'START' position. Release once the engine starts.
6. Once the engine is running, gradually move the choke lever to the 'RUN' position.

Note: The generator is quite loud, operating at approximately 97 decibels. Position it at a safe distance from your home.

5.3. Connecting to a Load
