Setup and Charging
Initial Charging:
Before first use, fully charge both speakers. Connect the supplied charging cable to the DC IN port on the rear of each speaker and plug the other end into a suitable power outlet. The charging indicator will illuminate. Once fully charged, the indicator will change or turn off (refer to the display for battery status). A full charge provides up to 12 hours of playback.
Powering On/Off:
Press and hold the ON / STANDBY / INPUT button on the top panel to power the speaker on or off. A sound prompt will indicate the power status.
Operating Instructions
Bluetooth Pairing:
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode. If not, press the PAIRING / PLAY MODE button until "Bluetooth" or "BT" appears on the display. The Bluetooth indicator will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "SHARP PS-916" from the list of devices.
- Once connected, the speaker will emit a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing and remain solid.
- You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.
True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing:
TWS allows you to connect two PS-916 speakers wirelessly to create a stereo sound system.

- Ensure both PS-916 speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet connected to any mobile device.
- On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), press the TWS button. The display will show "TWS" and flash.
- The primary speaker will automatically search for the second speaker.
- Once connected, both speakers will emit a confirmation sound, and the "TWS" indicator on both displays will become solid. One speaker will be designated as the Left channel and the other as the Right.
- Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section. Audio will play in stereo through both speakers.
- To disconnect TWS, press the TWS button on either speaker again.
Microphone Usage:
Connect a 6.3mm microphone (sold separately) to the MIC IN port on the rear panel. Use the MIC CONTROL knob on the top panel to adjust the microphone volume.
FM Radio:
- Press the PAIRING / PLAY MODE button repeatedly until "FM" appears on the display.
- Press the PLAY / PAUSE button to auto-scan and save available FM stations.
- Use the PREVIOUS / NEXT buttons to navigate through saved stations.
AUX Input:
Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, TV) to the AUX IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied). Press the PAIRING / PLAY MODE button until "AUX" appears on the display. Audio will now play from the connected device.
Light Effects:
Press the LIGHT button on the top panel to cycle through different LED light modes or to turn the lights off.
Bass Boost:
Press the BASS button on the top panel to activate or deactivate the bass boost feature, enhancing the low-frequency output.
Maintenance
Cleaning:
Wipe the speaker's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials. Ensure no liquids enter the speaker's openings.
Storage:
When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to fully charge the battery every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.
Troubleshooting
