3. Safety Information

5. Operating Instructions
Once the device is set up, follow these steps for operation:
- Add Medication: Open the nebulizer cup and pour the prescribed amount of medication into the medication reservoir. Do not overfill.
- Close Nebulizer Cup: Securely close the nebulizer cup to prevent leakage.
- Position Yourself: Sit upright and comfortably. If using a mask, ensure it fits snugly over your nose and mouth. If using a mouthpiece, place it between your teeth and seal your lips around it.
- Turn On: Press the power button on the compressor unit to start the nebulization. You should see a fine mist being produced.
- Adjust Mist Rate: If your model has an adjustable mist rate dial, rotate it to achieve the desired airflow and mist intensity as recommended by your physician.
- Inhale: Breathe slowly and deeply through your mouth until all the medication has been nebulized. This typically takes 5-15 minutes, depending on the medication volume and mist rate.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and hygienic operation of your nebulizer.
After Each Use:
- Disassemble: Disconnect the air tube, mouthpiece/mask, and open the nebulizer cup.
- Rinse: Rinse the nebulizer cup, mouthpiece/mask, and baffle thoroughly with warm tap water.
- Dry: Shake off excess water and allow all parts to air dry completely on a clean paper towel.
Daily/Weekly Cleaning (or as recommended by your physician):
- Wash: Wash the nebulizer cup, mouthpiece/mask, and baffle in warm soapy water. Use a mild dish soap.
