4. Setup
4.1 Power Connection
The MIG205MP supports dual voltage operation (120V/240V). Ensure the machine is turned off and the fan has stopped before switching voltage. Use the appropriate adapter for your power supply.

4.2 Gas and Torch Connections
Connect the MIG torch, CUT gun, and TIG gun to their respective ports on the front panel. Connect the gas hose to the appropriate gas inlet on the rear panel for Gas MIG, HF TIG, or CUT operations. Ensure all connections are secure.

4.3 Wire Spool Setup
The MIG205MP supports both 2lb and 10lb spools of MIG wire in sizes 0.023", 0.030", 0.035", or 0.040". Follow the instructions in the user manual for proper wire loading and tension adjustment.

5. Operating Modes
The ARCCAPTAIN MIG205MP features a large LED display for clear visibility and intuitive operation. 5.1 APP Control & Memory Function
Utilize the iControl APP for parameter adjustment, real-time monitoring, and status detection within a 10-meter range. The app allows for unlimited preset memory, enabling users to save and name custom settings. An integrated FAQs section provides instant access to troubleshooting guides.

5.2 Gas MIG & Flux Core MIG Welding
The welder supports both Gas MIG and Gasless (Flux Core) MIG welding. The smart parameter-matching system simplifies setup for various materials. Advanced users can fine-tune settings like Inductance and Burn-back via the Technical Upgrade feature.

5.3 Spool Gun Aluminum Welding
For aluminum welding, an optional spool gun (not included) can be connected. The MIG205MP offers precise control over wire feed speed, burn-back time, pre-flow, and post-flow settings for superior aluminum welding performance.

5.4 Plasma Cutting
The Plasma Cut mode offers powerful cutting ability. The recommended cutting thickness is 12mm (1/2") at 120V/35A/55PSI, and a maximum of 18mm (2/3") at 240V/50A/60PSI.

5.5 DC Lift / HF TIG Welding with Pulse
The welder supports both DC Lift TIG and DC HF TIG modes, featuring multiple trigger modes (2T/S2T/4T/S4T/RPT) with pulse function for diverse welding needs. A single TIG torch works for both modes. Foot pedal compatibility is available for enhanced control.

5.6 MMA Stick Welding
The MMA Stick mode supports both acidic and alkaline electrodes. It features SYN for beginner-friendly operation, along with Hot Start, Arc Force, and Anti-Stick technology for smooth, high-quality welds.

5.7 Spot Welding & Cleaning Function
Precision Spot Welding delivers instant high-current joins for rapid production. Spot welding is available in MIG, HF TIG, and Lift TIG functions. The Clean Function removes oxidation and impurities for cleaner welds (requires welding cleaning solution, purchased separately).
