Setup

1. Charging the Headphones

Before first use, fully charge your Monster Open Ear AC228 headphones. Place the earbuds into the charging case, and connect the charging cable to the case and a USB power source. The indicator lights on the case will show the charging status. A full charge provides up to 8 hours of playtime, with the charging case extending total playtime to 24 hours.

2. Pairing with Your Device

  1. Ensure the headphones are charged and within 10 meters (33 feet) of your device.
  2. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing light on the earbuds.
  3. On your device (smartphone, laptop, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth on.
  4. Search for available devices and select "Monster AC228" from the list.
  5. Once connected, a voice prompt will confirm successful pairing, and the indicator lights on the earbuds will turn off or show a steady light.

The headphones will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when taken out of the case, if Bluetooth is enabled on the device.
