1. Introduction

The SINGCALL Wireless Doorbell Extender converts your existing wired doorbell into a wireless system, allowing you to hear your doorbell from anywhere in your home with a portable receiver. This system enhances convenience by extending your doorbell's reach without complex rewiring. 4.1 Connecting the Doorbell Extender (Transmitter)

The doorbell extender connects to your existing wired doorbell chime. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Circuit Board Cover: Carefully open the cover of your existing wired doorbell chime to access its internal wiring.
  2. Connect the Power Cord: Connect the power cord of the doorbell extender to the circuit board terminals. The power cables can be connected in either direction (+/-).
  3. Secure the Transmitter: Use the provided adhesive tape to secure the transmitter within the chime housing to prevent loosening.
  4. Close the Cover: Ensure all connections are secure and close the doorbell chime cover.

Note: If your transformer and wired doorbell are integrated, the transmitter cannot be used simultaneously with the existing wired doorbell chime.

4.2 Pairing the Extender with the Portable Receiver

To enable communication between the extender and the receiver, they must be paired:

  1. Activate Learning Mode: On the portable receiver, long press the Volume button. The blue LED indicator will stay on steadily, indicating it has entered learning mode.
  2. Trigger the Doorbell: Press your wired doorbell button. The receiver will beep twice, and its blue LED indicator will flash twice. This confirms successful pairing.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Resetting to Factory Defaults

To delete all paired transmitters and restore the receiver to its original settings:

  1. Turn Off Receiver: Switch the power button on the back of the receiver to the OFF position.
  2. Initiate Reset: While holding down the Volume Control button, switch the power button to the ON position.
  3. Confirmation: The receiver will beep ten times slowly, and the LED light will flash rapidly. This indicates that the ringtone has returned to the first one, and all transmitters have been successfully deleted. The receiver is now back to factory defaults.
