1. Introduction

2. Connect the Power Cord: Connect the power cord of the doorbell extender to the circuit board terminals. The power cables can be connected in either direction (+/-).

4.2 Pairing the Extender with the Portable Receiver

To enable communication between the extender and the receiver, they must be paired:

1. Activate Learning Mode: On the portable receiver, long press the Volume button. The blue LED indicator will stay on steadily, indicating it has entered learning mode.
2. Trigger the Doorbell: Press your wired doorbell button. The receiver will beep twice, and its blue LED indicator will flash twice. This confirms successful pairing.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Adjusting Volume

The portable receiver offers adjustable volume levels:

• Change Volume: Short press the Volume Control button on the side of the receiver to cycle through different volume levels (0-100dB).
• Volume Limits: The receiver will beep twice when the maximum or minimum volume level is reached.
• Power Cycle: If the receiver is powered off and then on again, the volume will automatically return to its maximum level.

5.2 Changing Ringtones

The portable receiver has 32 selectable ringtones:

• Volume Too Low or High:

  • Repeat the pairing process carefully as described in Section 4.2.
  • If issues persist, try resetting the receiver to factory defaults before re-pairing.

7.1 Resetting to Factory Defaults

To delete all paired transmitters and restore the receiver to its original settings:

1. Turn Off Receiver: Switch the power button on the back of the receiver to the OFF position.
2. Initiate Reset: While holding down the Volume Control button, switch the power button to the ON position.
3. Confirmation: The receiver will beep ten times slowly, and the LED light will flash rapidly. This indicates that the ringtone has returned to the first one, and all transmitters have been successfully deleted. The receiver is now back to factory defaults.
