Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your ZHANGUSY Tuya 5G WiFi Camera. Designed for indoor smart home security, this camera offers 2K 4MP resolution, AI motion detection, IR night vision, and two-way audio communication. Please read this manual carefully before using the product to ensure proper functionality and safety.

Setup

1. Powering On

1. Connect the provided DC5V power supply to the camera's power input port.
2. Plug the power supply into a wall outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its self-test sequence.

2. App Installation

The camera operates with the Tuya Smart Life application. Download it from your mobile device's app store:

• For Android devices: Search for "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" on the Google Play Store.
• For iOS devices: Search for "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" on the Apple App Store.

Install the application and create an account if you don't already have one.

3. Connecting to Wi-Fi

This camera supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks for flexible connectivity.

1. Open the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app and tap the "Add Device" or "+" icon.
2. Select "Security & Video Surveillance" then "Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)".
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to reset the camera (if necessary) and confirm the indicator light is blinking.
4. Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password. Ensure your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
5. The app will generate a QR code. Hold the QR code in front of the camera lens (approx. 15-20 cm or 6-8 inches away) until you hear a confirmation sound from the camera.
6. Once connected, the camera's indicator light will turn solid, and the camera will appear in your app's device list.

Note: If connection fails, ensure your network is stable. You can try using a mobile phone hotspot as a temporary network for testing purposes.

Operating the Camera

Live View and PTZ Control

Access the live video feed from your camera through the Tuya Smart Life app. You can remotely control the camera's pan (horizontal) and tilt (vertical) movements.

• Pan: 0°-360° rotation.
• Tilt: -10°-180° movement.

Two-Way Audio

The camera features a built-in microphone and speaker, allowing for two-way communication. Tap the microphone icon in the app to speak through the camera, and listen to audio from the camera's surroundings.

Motion Detection & Alerts

Enable AI motion detection to receive instant notifications on your mobile device when movement is detected. The camera can also automatically track detected motion.

• Configure motion detection sensitivity in the app settings.
• Receive push notifications directly to your phone.
• The camera supports advanced AI detection, including flame detection, for enhanced security alerts.

Night Vision

The camera is equipped with IR night vision for clear monitoring in low-light or no-light conditions. It also supports color night vision for enhanced detail.

• Automatically switches between day and night modes.

Storage Options

The camera supports local storage via a Micro SD card (up to 128GB) and cloud storage services (subscription may be required).

Maintenance

Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance, regularly clean the camera lens and body.

• Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the camera body.
• For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth and a specialized lens cleaning solution if necessary. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.

SD Card Management

If using a Micro SD card for local storage:

• Periodically format the SD card through the app settings to ensure smooth recording and prevent data corruption.
• If replacing the SD card, power off the camera before inserting or removing the card.
