3. Installation Guide
The Evanshow Smart Door Knob is designed for easy installation without the need for drilling or complex wiring. It fits wooden doors with a thickness of 1.18"-1.97" and is reversible for left/right swing doors.
3.1. Preparation

3.2. Step-by-Step Installation
- Install the Latch: Insert the latch into the door edge. Ensure the latch bolt is facing the correct direction for your door swing. Secure with screws.
- Install the Exterior Assembly: Align the exterior knob assembly with the latch and door hole. Pass the spindle through the latch.
- Install the Interior Assembly: Connect the interior knob assembly to the exterior assembly, ensuring the wires are not pinched. Secure with mounting screws.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Initial App Setup & Networking
- Download Tuya Smart APP and Login:
Open your cell phone's App Store, search for "Tuya Smart", and download the application. Open the Tuya App. Registered users can log in with their account password; new users should register first. - Creating Families:
In the app, click "Me", then "Home Management", and click "Create a home". Enter your "Home Name" and "Location", click "Confirm", then "Save". After successful creation, click "Done". - Operate the Cell Phone in Networked Mode:
Click "Home", then "Add Device" to turn on your phone's Bluetooth. Press any number key on the smart lock to wake it up. Search for the device in the app, click "Lock", and once the device is added, click "Done". - Unlock with Cell Phone:
From the app interface, pull the "right" slider to unlock the door with your cell phone. - View Status:
Click on "Information Reminder" within the app to view the real-time status and logs of the door lock.

Control your door lock directly from the Tuya Smart app on your smartphone. This allows for remote unlocking (with gateway, sold separately) and management of access. - Code Unlock:
Use the anti-peeping keypad to enter your personalized 6-10 digit code. The anti-peeping feature allows you to enter random digits before or after your actual code to protect your privacy. - Key Unlock:
For emergency situations or as a backup, use one of the two provided physical keys to unlock the door.
