  1. Unpacking: Remove all packaging materials, including foam and adhesive tape. Inspect the freezer for any damage.

Place the freezer on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources (e.g., stove, heater). Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. This compact design is suitable for apartments, dorms, offices, or motor homes.

  3. Leveling: The freezer features adjustable feet. Rotate the adjustable feet at the bottom of the unit to ensure it is level. A level appliance operates more efficiently.
  4. Door Reversal (Optional): The door is reversible, allowing it to open from either the left or right side to suit your space. Refer to the detailed diagram in the separate assembly guide for instructions on how to reverse the door.
  5. Initial Power-on: After placing the freezer, allow it to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
  6. Power Connection: Plug the freezer into a dedicated 115V, 60Hz grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords.

Operating Instructions

Temperature Control

The freezer's temperature can be adjusted using the thermostat dial located inside the unit. Rotate the dial to select your desired temperature setting. The temperature range is from 6.8℉ to -11.2℉ across 5 levels.

It is recommended to start with a medium setting (e.g., 3) and adjust as needed based on the amount of food stored and desired freezing performance.

Maintenance

Defrosting

This freezer features manual defrost. Frost buildup is normal and should be removed periodically to ensure efficient operation. Defrost when the frost layer is approximately 1/4 inch thick.

  1. Unplug the freezer from the power outlet.
  2. Remove all food items and store them in another freezer or cooler.
  3. Place towels or a shallow pan inside the freezer to collect melting ice.
  4. Leave the freezer door open to allow the frost to melt naturally. Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to speed up the defrosting process, as this can damage the appliance.
  5. Once all frost has melted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
  6. Plug the freezer back in and allow it to cool down for a few hours before returning food items.
