3. Setup Guide

The BDFFLY Wireless HDMI system is designed for simple plug-and-play setup. Follow these steps to get started:

1. Connect the Receiver (RX): Plug the Receiver unit into an available HDMI input port on your display device (HDTV, monitor, or projector). Connect a USB-A to Type-C cable from the receiver to a 5V/1A power source (e.g., a USB port on your TV or a USB wall adapter).
2. Connect the Transmitter (TX): Plug the Transmitter unit into the HDMI output port of your source device (laptop, PC, gaming console, TV box, camera, etc.). Connect a USB-A to Type-C cable from the transmitter to a 5V/1A power source. Use the provided USB Type-C to HDMI, Mini HDMI, or Micro HDMI adapters if your source device requires a different HDMI port type.
3. Automatic Connection: Once both units are powered on and connected, they will automatically pair and establish a wireless connection. The display will show the content from your source device.

4. Operating Modes

The BDFFLY Wireless HDMI system supports two primary operating modes:

• Mirroring Mode: Duplicates the content from your source device onto the connected display. This is ideal for presentations or sharing content directly.
• Extension Mode: Extends your desktop, allowing you to have different content on your source device and the connected display. This provides a privacy mode and expands your workspace.

5. Compatibility

The BDFFLY Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver is compatible with a wide range of devices:

• Source Devices (Transmitter): PC, Laptops, Gaming Consoles (PS3/4/5, Nintendo Switch), Cameras, DV machines, TV boxes, Smartphones (Only compatible with S21/iPhone 15/iPad 10th Generation or above models that support HDMI signal output via their port).

Note: For smartphones and tablets, ensure the device's port supports HDMI signal output. A Type-C to HDMI adapter may be required for some mobile devices.

7. Troubleshooting

• No Display/Signal:
  • Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are properly connected to their respective HDMI ports and are receiving adequate 5V/1A power.
  • Check that your display device is set to the correct HDMI input source.
  • Verify that the source device (e.g., laptop) is configured to output video to an external display.
  • If the units do not sync immediately, press and hold the button on both devices for 5 seconds to re-establish connection.
• Poor Signal Quality/Interference:
  • Ensure there are no significant physical obstructions (e.g., thick walls) between the transmitter and receiver.
  • Minimize interference from other wireless devices operating on 2.4GHz or 5GHz frequencies.
  • Reduce the distance between the transmitter and receiver. The maximum effective range is 328 feet (100 meters) in an open environment, but this can be reduced by obstacles.
• Audio Sync Issues:
  • Restart both the transmitter and receiver units.
  • Ensure your source device's audio output settings are correctly configured.
