  • Left Click: Primary action button.
  • Right Click: Secondary action button, typically for context menus.
  • Scroll Wheel Key: Scrolls content and acts as a middle click button.
  • DPI Adjustment Keys: Cycle through preset DPI levels.
  • Forward/Back Buttons: Navigate web pages or in-game functions.
  • Wireless/OFF/Bluetooth Toggle Key: Selects the desired connection mode.
  • Return Rate Adjustment Key: Adjusts the polling rate (available in 8K Wireless and Wired modes).

DPI Settings

The mouse has several default DPI settings. Use the DPI adjustment keys to cycle through them. For precise customization, use the dedicated software.

Default DPI values (indicated by color):

  • 400 DPI (Red)
  • 800 DPI (Blue - Default)
  • 1600 DPI (Green)
  • 3200 DPI (Purple)
  • 4800 DPI (Yellow)

Polling Rate (Return Rate)

The polling rate determines how often the mouse reports its position to the computer. Higher rates provide smoother tracking but consume more power.

  • Bluetooth Mode: Fixed at 125Hz.

Customization Software

The Darmoshark N7MAX mouse supports dedicated software for advanced customization. This software allows you to:

  • Adjust DPI settings beyond the default presets.
  • Reassign button functions.
  • Create and manage macros.
  • Adjust LOD (Lift-Off Distance).
  • Configure lighting settings (if applicable).

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Sensor Care: Keep the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse clean and free from dust or debris for accurate tracking.
  • Storage: Store the mouse in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Battery: The mouse uses a rechargeable battery. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.

Troubleshooting

Mouse not responding:
  • Ensure the mouse is charged.
  • Check the connection mode switch (Wireless, Bluetooth, Wired) is set correctly.
  • For wireless mode, ensure the 8K receiver is securely plugged into a USB port.
  • For Bluetooth mode, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your computer and the mouse is paired.
  • Try connecting the mouse in wired mode to rule out wireless issues.
  • Try a different USB port.
Lag or erratic movement:
  • Ensure the mouse sensor is clean.
  • Check for interference in wireless environments. Move the receiver closer to the mouse.
  • Ensure the mouse is on a suitable surface (mouse pad recommended).
  • Update mouse drivers or software from the official Darmoshark website.
  • Lower the polling rate if experiencing instability, especially in wireless modes.
Buttons not working:
  • Check if button functions have been remapped in the customization software.
  • Ensure the software is running correctly if custom profiles are active.
