Setup and Installation
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the detector from its packaging. Inspect for any visible damage.
- Placement:
- Choose a location where carbon monoxide is likely to be present, such as near fuel-burning appliances (furnaces, water heaters, gas stoves, fireplaces) but not directly above them.
- Install at least 5 feet (1.5 meters) away from fuel-burning appliances to avoid false alarms from initial startup fumes.
- For optimal detection, place the detector at chest height or higher, but not directly on the ceiling.
- Avoid placing in direct sunlight, near vents, fans, or in extremely dusty, dirty, or greasy areas.
- Suitable for use in bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, basements, hotel rooms, RVs, and garages.
- Power Connection: Plug the detector directly into a standard 110V-220V AC wall socket. Ensure the socket is easily accessible and not obstructed.
- Initial Power-On: Upon plugging in, the device will perform a self-test and the HD screen will illuminate, displaying current CO levels, temperature, and humidity.

Alarm Functionality
- CO Detection Range: 0-999 ppm.
- Alarm Threshold: The alarm will sound when the CO concentration exceeds 50 ppm.
- Audible Alarm: An 85 dB alarm will sound to alert occupants.
- Visual Alarm: The gas bar icon on the display will change color, and the breathing LED light will also change color to indicate an alarm condition.
Maintenance
- Regular Cleaning: Gently wipe the exterior of the detector with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the air intake vents are clear of dust and debris.
- Testing: Perform a self-test monthly by short pressing the bell icon button. The alarm should sound, and the display should indicate a test in progress.
- Air Intake: The device features a 3D air intake design for efficient gas capture. Ensure these vents are not blocked by furniture, curtains, or other objects.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display/Device not powering on | No power from outlet; device malfunction. | Check if the outlet is working by plugging in another device. Try a different outlet. If still no power, contact customer support. |
| Alarm sounds frequently without apparent CO source | False alarm due to fumes (e.g., cleaning products, paint, strong odors); sensor contamination; high humidity. | Ventilate the area. Move the detector to a different location away from potential fume sources. Clean the detector. If persistent, contact customer support. |
| Alarm sounds (CO detected) | Carbon monoxide presence. |
|
| Display shows incorrect temperature/humidity | Environmental factors; sensor calibration. | Ensure the detector is not in direct sunlight or near heat/cold sources. Allow time for the sensor to stabilize. If readings are consistently inaccurate, contact customer support. |
