1. Introduction

The Homerz Smart Scale Pro Max is an advanced body composition scale designed to provide comprehensive health metrics. Utilizing 8 electrodes and dual-frequency Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA), it offers detailed insights into your body beyond just weight, including body fat, muscle mass, hydration, protein, bone mass, and over 50 other body composition metrics. Its unique bend-free standing design with a handle and large TFT display ensures ease of use and clear readability.

3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your Homerz Smart Scale Pro Max for first use:

1. Unpack the Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Ensure you have the scale base, the upright pole, the handle with its coiled cord, screws, and an Allen wrench.
2. Connect the Handle Cord: Locate the coiled cord attached to the handle. Feed the end of this cord through the opening at the top of the upright pole.

3. Attach the Upright Pole to the Base: Once the cord is through, align the bottom of the upright pole with the designated slot on the scale base. Gently slide the pole into place.
4. Secure the Pole: Flip the scale onto its side to access the underside of the base. Use the provided screws and Allen wrench to firmly secure the upright pole to the base. Ensure all four screws are tightened to prevent wobbling.

5. Connect the Handle to the Pole: Connect the end of the coiled cord from the handle to the port at the top of the upright pole. Ensure a secure connection.
6. Charge the Scale: Before first use, connect the charging cable to the scale and a power source to ensure it is fully charged.
7. Download the App: Download the "Unique Health" app from your device's app store (Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit compatible). Create your user profile within the app.

8. Pair with App: Follow the in-app instructions to pair your Homerz Smart Scale Pro Max via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. This will enable real-time data synchronization.

4. Operating Instructions

For accurate measurements, follow these guidelines:

1. Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat surface. Avoid carpets or uneven flooring, as this can affect accuracy.
2. Step On: Step onto the scale barefoot, ensuring your feet are positioned on the designated electrode pads. Stand still and avoid talking during the measurement process.

3. Hold the Handle: Gently pull the handle up to a comfortable position (approximately 45-degree angle) and grip it firmly, ensuring your hands cover all the electrodes on the handle. The display will show "Measuring" and flash as it collects data.
4. View Results: Once the measurement is complete, your weight and key body composition data will appear on the scale's TFT display. More detailed metrics (over 50) will be instantly synchronized and available in the "Unique Health" app on your smartphone.

5. App Features: The app allows you to track trends over time, set goals, and view comprehensive reports on metrics such as:
   • Weight, BMI, BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate)
   • Body Fat Ratio & Mass

   • Water Ratio & Total Body Water

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the scale's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the electrodes or display.
• Storage: Store the scale in a dry, stable environment. Avoid extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
• Battery Care: Recharge the built-in battery as needed. Avoid fully depleting the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.
• Calibration: The scale is designed for consistent accuracy. If you suspect an issue, ensure it is placed on a perfectly flat, hard surface.

8. Troubleshooting

• Inaccurate Readings:
  • Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat surface (not carpet).
  • Make sure your feet are clean, dry, and making full contact with all electrode pads.
  • Hold the handle firmly with both hands, ensuring full contact with handle electrodes.
  • Avoid moving or talking during measurement.
• No Display/Power:
  • Check if the battery is charged. Connect the charging cable and allow it to charge for a period.
  • Ensure the power button (if any) is pressed.
• App Connectivity Issues:
  • Ensure Bluetooth/Wi-Fi is enabled on your smartphone.
  • Make sure the scale is within range of your smartphone or Wi-Fi router.
  • Restart both the scale and the app.
  • Check for app updates in your device's app store.
• Data Not Syncing:
  • Verify that the scale is successfully paired with the app.
  • Check your internet connection for Wi-Fi syncing.
  • Ensure the "Unique Health" app has necessary permissions on your phone (e.g., Bluetooth, location).
