4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Unfolding the Tripod

  1. Hold the main body of the selfie stick.
  2. Gently pull the three legs outwards from the base until they lock into position, forming a stable tripod stand.

4.2 Attaching Your Device (Phone/Camera)

  1. For Smartphones: Extend the phone clamp at the top of the stick and securely place your smartphone within the grips. Ensure the phone is balanced.
  2. For Action Cameras (e.g., GoPro): Attach the provided GoPro adapter to the screw mount on the pan head. Then, mount your action camera onto the adapter.
  3. For Compact DSLR Cameras: Screw the camera directly onto the 1/4-inch universal screw mount on the pan head. Ensure the camera weight does not exceed 1.5kg.

4.3 Pairing the Wireless Remote

  1. Ensure the remote control has a working battery.
  2. Turn on the remote control (usually by pressing and holding a button until an indicator light flashes).
  3. On your smartphone, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
  4. Select the device named 'Digitek Remote' or similar to pair. The indicator light on the remote will stop flashing once paired.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Adjusting Height and Extension

  1. To extend the selfie stick, pull the rod upwards from the base. The 7-section aluminum rod allows for smooth extension up to 1450mm.
  2. To retract, push the rod back down until it reaches the desired length or is fully collapsed to 330mm.

5.2 Adjusting Angle and Rotation

  1. The pan head allows for 360° horizontal rotation. Loosen the locking knob (if present) to rotate, then tighten to secure the position.
  2. Adjust the vertical tilt of your device by loosening the tilt knob, setting the desired angle, and then tightening the knob.

5.3 Using the Wireless Remote

  1. Once paired, open your camera application on your smartphone.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the tripod and remote with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
