Setup

1. Placement

Position the soundbar centrally below your television. The wireless subwoofer can be placed anywhere in the room, ideally near a wall for enhanced bass response. The soundbar can be placed on a tabletop or wall-mounted.

2. Connections

  1. HDMI eARC/ARC: For optimal audio quality and control, connect an HDMI cable from the soundbar's "HDMI OUT (eARC/ARC)" port to your TV's HDMI ARC/eARC port. This supports 4K Dolby Vision Pass-Through.
  2. Optical: If your TV does not have an ARC/eARC port, connect an optical cable from the soundbar's "OPTICAL" port to your TV's optical output.
  3. Aux In: For analog audio sources, use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect to the "AUX IN" port.
  4. USB: Insert a USB drive for media playback.
  5. Power: Connect the power cables to the soundbar and subwoofer, then plug them into a power outlet.

3. Wireless Subwoofer Pairing

The subwoofer should automatically pair with the soundbar upon powering on. If pairing fails, ensure both units are powered on and within range. Refer to the troubleshooting section if issues persist.

The soundbar features touch controls on its top panel and can also be operated via the included remote control.

Input Selection

Press the "Input" button on the remote or the soundbar's top panel to cycle through available inputs: HDMI eARC, Optical, Aux, USB, and Bluetooth.

Sound Modes

The SAMA 5000 offers optimized sound modes for different content types, achieved through DSP balance:

  • Movie Mode: Focuses on overall immersive and dynamic effects with clear dialogue.
  • Music Mode: Delivers balanced, detailed response for music. Offers a Dolby mode option to engage the center channel, or sound from L, R, and Sub.
  • Speech Mode: Subtly boosts dialogue clarity, which may be needed for older or non-OTT content.

Bluetooth Pairing

To pair a Bluetooth device:

  1. Select Bluetooth input on the soundbar.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your device and search for "SAMA 5000".
  3. Select the soundbar to pair.

Maintenance

  • Clean the soundbar and subwoofer with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the units.

Troubleshooting
