Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Initial Charge: For optimal performance, fully charge the device before first use. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the unit and to a compatible USB power source. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.
- Placement: Place the bug zapper in an area where flying insects are prevalent, away from direct human activity to avoid attracting insects to your immediate vicinity. For outdoor use, ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight for continuous charging.
Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off and Modes
The device features two buttons on the top panel: one for the bug zapper function and one for the LED lantern light.
- Bug Zapper: Press the button with the insect icon to activate the UV bug zapper. The blue UV light will illuminate, attracting and zapping insects. Press again to turn off.
- LED Lantern: Press the button with the light bulb icon to activate the LED lantern. This light can be swiveled to direct illumination. Press again to cycle through brightness settings or turn off.
- Both the bug zapper and LED lantern can operate independently or simultaneously.
Charging Options
- Solar Charging: The integrated solar panel on top of the unit charges the internal battery when exposed to direct sunlight. This provides a convenient, eco-friendly power source for outdoor use.
- USB-C Charging: For faster charging or when solar power is unavailable, use the provided USB-C cable to charge the device from any standard USB power adapter (not included).

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
