Setup
Before initial use, ensure the solar panel is exposed to 6-8 hours of direct sunlight for ample charging. Optimal performance is achieved with full sun exposure. Avoid placing the light in shaded areas as this will hinder charging efficiency.
Installation Methods:
1. Screw Mounting:
This method is recommended for secure and stable installation. Use the provided screws and anchors to firmly attach the light to a wall, fence, or other suitable surface.

2. Double-sided Adhesive:
For temporary or less permanent installations, the included 3M tapes can be used. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying the adhesive.
3. Rope Hanging:
The light can also be hung using a rope through its designated mounting holes. This offers flexibility for placement in various outdoor settings.
Choose a location that receives ample direct sunlight throughout the day to maximize charging efficiency and ensure optimal night-time illumination.

Operating Modes
The TECKNET Solar Light features three distinct lighting modes, selectable via a button on the unit:
Mode 1: Always On Mode
The light will turn on at dusk and maintain a continuous medium brightness (50% light) throughout the night, turning off automatically at dawn.
Mode 2: Dim Light Sensor Mode
The light stays at a dim brightness (30% light) at night. When motion is detected, it brightens to 100% light for a period, then returns to dim light after motion ceases.
Mode 3: Strong Light Sensor Mode
The light remains off (0% light) at night. When motion is detected, it illuminates at 100% brightness for a period, then turns off completely after motion ceases.

Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your TECKNET Solar Light, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Clean the Solar Panel: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and charging efficiency.
- Clear Obstructions: Ensure no trees, bushes, or other objects are blocking direct sunlight from reaching the solar panel, especially during peak charging hours.
- Inspect for Damage: Periodically check the light for any physical damage, such as cracks in the casing or solar panel. Despite its IP66 waterproof rating, severe damage could compromise its integrity.
- Winter Care: While designed to withstand frost, clearing snow or ice from the solar panel will allow it to charge effectively during winter months.

Troubleshooting
- Light Not Turning On at Night:
- Ensure the solar panel receives 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Relocate if necessary.
- Check if the light is in the correct operating mode. Press the mode button to cycle through options.
- Verify there are no external light sources (e.g., streetlights, other outdoor lights) interfering with the light sensor, as this may prevent it from activating.
- Motion Sensor Not Activating:
- Confirm the light is in Mode 2 or Mode 3, which utilize the motion sensor.
- Ensure the sensor lens is clean and free from obstructions.
- Test the sensor by walking within its detection range (13-20ft, 120° angle).
- Reduced Illumination Time:
- Insufficient charging due to cloudy weather or shaded placement. Ensure optimal sun exposure.
- The battery may not be fully charged. Allow several days of full sunlight charging.
