2. Important Safety Information

3. Setup and Assembly
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts listed in the package contents are present and undamaged.
3.2 Gas Connection
- Ensure the gas cylinder valve is closed before connecting.
- Connect the gas hose to the appliance's gas inlet. Tighten securely by hand, then with a wrench if necessary, but do not overtighten.
- Connect the other end of the hose to the pressure regulator, then to the gas cylinder. Ensure all connections are tight.
- Perform a leak test: Apply a soapy water solution to all gas connections. Bubbles indicate a leak. If a leak is detected, close the gas supply, tighten connections, and re-test. Do not use the appliance if a leak persists.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Ignition
- Open the gas cylinder valve.
- Push and turn one of the control knobs to the high position (usually indicated by a larger flame symbol).
- Press the electronic ignition button (lightning bolt symbol) repeatedly until the burner ignites. You should hear a clicking sound and see a flame.
- If the burner does not ignite within 5 seconds, turn the control knob off, wait 5 minutes, and repeat the ignition process.
- Once ignited, adjust the flame to the desired cooking temperature using the control knob.
- Repeat for the second burner if dual-zone cooking is desired.
4.2 Cooking
The enamelled cast iron cooking surface provides even heat distribution. The integrated cooking lid with thermometer allows for both direct grilling and indirect cooking/baking. Monitor the temperature using the lid thermometer.

4.3 Shutting Down
- Turn all control knobs to the 'OFF' position.
- Close the gas cylinder valve.
- Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning or moving.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
5.1 After Each Use
- Once the plancha has cooled, scrape off any food residue from the cooking surface using a non-abrasive scraper.
- Wipe the cooking surface with a damp cloth. For stubborn residue, use warm soapy water.
- Empty and clean the grease collection tray. This tray is located at the front of the appliance.

5.2 Periodic Maintenance
- Inspect the gas hose for cracks, cuts, or abrasions. Replace if damaged.
- Clean the burner ports if they become clogged. Refer to the diagram of the burners for location.
