Setup

Battery Installation and Charging

The ZWILLING Xtend Hand Blender is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery (not included). Ensure your battery is fully charged before initial use.

Attaching the Blending Arm

Align the blending arm with the motor unit. Twist the blending arm clockwise until it locks securely into position. To detach, twist counter-clockwise and pull apart.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

Once the battery is installed and the desired attachment is secured, press the unlock button on the motor unit. The LED indicators will light up, showing the current battery level. Then, select one of the three available speed levels (7000 to 11000 RPM) by pressing the corresponding speed button. The blender will operate as long as the speed button is held down.

Blending with the Immersion Blending Arm

For best results, immerse the blending arm into the ingredients before starting the motor. Use the included 20-ounce beaker or a suitable deep pot/container. Move the blender up and down gently to ensure all ingredients are evenly processed. Avoid lifting the blending head completely out of the ingredients while operating to prevent splashing.

Using Attachments

The ZWILLING Xtend system offers various attachments to expand its functionality. Ensure the motor unit is detached from the battery and the appliance is off before changing attachments.

Whisk Attachment

Attach the whisk to the motor unit for whipping cream, beating eggs, or creating light batters. Use a suitable bowl that allows the whisk to move freely without touching the sides.

Ricer/Masher Attachment

Use the ricer attachment for creating smooth mashed potatoes or purees. Place cooked ingredients in a pot and press the ricer down while operating the motor unit.

Chopper Attachment

The chopper attachment is designed for quickly chopping herbs, nuts, onions, and other small ingredients. Place ingredients into the chopper bowl, attach the motor unit, and operate.

Vacuum Sealer Attachment

The ZWILLING Xtend system also includes a vacuum sealer attachment (sold separately or as part of a larger set) for preserving food. Attach the vacuum unit to the motor and use with compatible vacuum bags or containers.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Always ensure the battery is removed from the motor unit before cleaning any part of the appliance.

• Motor Unit: Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water or any other liquid.
• Blending Arm & Attachments (Chopper, Whisk, Ricer): Detach these parts from the motor unit. Wash them with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Be careful when handling the sharp blades of the blending arm and chopper.
• Beaker: The 20-ounce beaker is dishwasher safe (top rack recommended) or can be hand washed with warm, soapy water.
• Battery: Wipe the battery with a dry cloth. Do not immerse in water.
