4. Setup and Installation

Careful installation is crucial for optimal performance and security. It is recommended to consult a professional electrician if you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring.

4.1 Component Identification

4.2 Installation Steps

  1. Mount the Magnetic Lock:
    • Determine the optimal mounting location for the magnetic lock on the door frame and the armature plate on the door. Ensure proper alignment for secure locking.
    • Use the provided mounting hardware to securely attach the magnetic lock to the door frame.
    • Attach the armature plate to the door, ensuring it aligns perfectly with the magnetic lock when the door is closed.

  2. Mount the Access Control Keypad:
    • Choose a convenient location on the exterior side of the door or wall for the keypad.
    • Securely mount the keypad using the provided screws.
    • Access control keypad installed on a wall next to a glass door.

  3. Mount the Infrared Wireless Exit Switch:
    • Install the exit switch on the interior side of the door or wall, within easy reach.
    • Ensure it is mounted securely.

  4. Connect the Power Supply Controller:
    • Mount the power supply controller in a secure and accessible location, preferably near a power outlet.
    • Connect the power cable to the power supply controller.
  5. Wiring Diagram:

    Follow the wiring diagram carefully to connect all components. Incorrect wiring can damage the system or pose a safety hazard.

    This diagram illustrates the connections between the Access Control Keypad, Power Supply, Magnetic Lock, and the Infrared Wireless Exit Switch. Ensure all wires are connected to their corresponding terminals as indicated by color and function (e.g., NC, NO, +12V, GND, COM, OPEN, D0, D1, BELL, PUSH, CTRL+).

  6. Power On: Once all connections are secure, plug in the power supply. The system should power on and the keypad display will activate.

5. Operating Instructions

This section details the basic operation of your YUANWIN Door Access Control System, including user management and unlocking methods.

5.1 Initial Setup and Admin Code

Upon first power-up, the system will be in a default state. The default admin code is 999999. It is highly recommended to change this code immediately after initial setup for security purposes.

To enter programming mode, press * then enter the admin code (default 999999) followed by #.

5.2 User Management

The system supports adding and deleting users via RFID cards, PINs, and fingerprints.

  1. Adding an RFID Card:
    • Enter programming mode.
    • Press 1 to enter the "Add Card" menu.
    • Present the RFID card to the keypad's card reader. The system will confirm successful registration.
    • To exit, press *.
  2. Adding a PIN:
    • Enter programming mode.
    • Press 2 to enter the "Add PIN" menu.
    • Enter the desired 4-6 digit PIN, then press #. Re-enter the PIN and press # again to confirm. The system will confirm successful registration.
    • To exit, press *.
  3. Adding a Fingerprint:
    • Enter programming mode.
    • Press 3 to enter the "Add Fingerprint" menu.
    • Place a finger on the fingerprint scanner. Lift and repeat the process 3 times as prompted by the system for accurate registration. The system will confirm successful registration.
    • To exit, press *.
  4. Deleting Users:
    • Enter programming mode.
    • To delete a specific user (card, PIN, or fingerprint), refer to the keypad's on-screen menu for the "Delete User" option (usually option 4 or 5). Follow the prompts to enter the user ID or present the credential to be deleted.
    • To delete all users, refer to the keypad's on-screen menu for the "Delete All Users" option.
    • To exit, press *.

5.3 Unlocking Methods

Once users are registered, they can unlock the door using their assigned credentials:

  • Unlock by RFID Card: Present the registered RFID card to the keypad's card reader. The lock will disengage.
  • Unlock by PIN: Enter the registered PIN on the keypad, then press #. The lock will disengage.
  • Unlock by Fingerprint: Place a registered finger on the fingerprint scanner. The lock will disengage.
  • Unlock by Infrared Wireless Switch: Wave your hand in front of the infrared exit switch on the inside of the door. The lock will disengage.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the keypad and magnetic lock. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Fingerprint Sensor: Keep the fingerprint sensor clean and free of dust or debris for accurate readings.
  • Wiring: Periodically check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from damage.
  • Magnetic Lock: Ensure the magnetic lock and armature plate are free of obstructions and properly aligned.

7. Troubleshooting
