Setup
1. Attaching the Landing Gear
- Carefully insert the landing gear wire into the designated slots on the underside of the aircraft fuselage.
- Ensure the wheels are securely attached and can rotate freely.

Image: The RC plane is shown with and without landing gear, illustrating the two take-off modes. The landing gear is attached for ground take-off.
2. Charging the Aircraft Battery
- Connect the rechargeable battery to the provided USB charging cable.
- Plug the USB cable into a standard USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
- The charging indicator light will show the charging status (refer to charger instructions for specific light patterns).
- Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the charger. Each battery provides approximately 20 minutes of flight time. Two batteries are included for extended use.

Image: Two high-capacity batteries are displayed, indicating a total flight time of over 40 minutes when both are used.
3. Installing Remote Control Batteries
- The remote control requires 3 AAA batteries (not included).
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment securely.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On and Pairing
- Ensure the aircraft battery is fully charged and installed in the plane.
- Turn on the RC plane by connecting its battery.
- Turn on the remote control. The indicator light on the remote will flash.
- Move the throttle stick (left stick) all the way up, then all the way down. The remote will beep, and the indicator light will become solid, indicating successful pairing.
2. Remote Control Overview

Image: The 2.4GHz remote control is shown, highlighting its control range of up to 492 feet.
- Left Stick (Throttle): Controls altitude (up/down).
- Right Stick (Directional): Controls turning (left/right) and pitch (forward/backward).
- Trim Buttons: Used to fine-tune the plane's flight path if it drifts without input.
- Speed Mode Button: Switches between two speed modes (fast/slow).
3. Flight Modes and Controls
The SIMREX Z63 features a 6-axis gyro stabilization system for stable flight and offers two launch methods:
- Hand Throw Launch: Hold the plane level and gently throw it forward while simultaneously applying throttle.
- Runway Takeoff: Place the plane on a flat, open surface. Gradually increase throttle and steer with the right stick until it gains enough speed to lift off.

Image: The RC plane is shown in flight, illustrating the stability provided by its auto-leveling six-axis flight system.
The 3-channel control allows for basic maneuvers: ascending/descending, turning left/right, and forward flight. Practice in a low-speed mode initially to familiarize yourself with the controls.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the aircraft gently with a dry, soft cloth after each use to remove dirt or debris. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners.
- Propeller Replacement: If a propeller is damaged, carefully remove it and replace it with a spare propeller, ensuring it is securely attached. Refer to the spare propellers included in the package.
- Storage: Store the RC plane and remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries from the remote control during long periods of non-use.
- Battery Care: Do not leave batteries fully charged or fully discharged for extended periods. Charge them to about 50% for long-term storage.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Plane does not respond to remote. | Low battery in plane or remote; not paired; out of range. | Charge plane battery; replace remote batteries; re-pair remote and plane; ensure within 492ft control range. |
| Plane flies erratically or drifts. | Trim settings incorrect; strong wind; damaged propeller. | Adjust trim buttons; fly in calmer conditions; check and replace damaged propellers. |
| Short flight time. | Battery not fully charged; old battery. | Ensure battery is fully charged; consider replacing battery if performance degrades significantly. |
| Propeller detaches easily. | Improper attachment; impact damage. | Ensure propellers are firmly pressed onto the motor shaft; replace if damaged. |
