This image demonstrates the automatic cloud storage feature. It shows a mobile phone screen displaying a timeline of captured visitor images and timestamps, indicating that when the doorbell is pressed, two photos are automatically stored in the cloud for review.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the doorbell unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Battery Care: Recharge the doorbell unit when the battery low indicator appears in the app. Avoid fully depleting the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.
  • Firmware Updates: Periodically check the Tuya/Smart life app for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Doorbell not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure the doorbell is within range of your router. Double-check your Wi-Fi password. Try restarting your router and the doorbell.
  • No notifications on phone: Check app notification settings on your phone and within the Tuya/Smart life app. Ensure the app is running in the background.
  • Poor video quality: Check your Wi-Fi signal strength at the doorbell's location. Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from obstructions.
  • Doorbell battery drains quickly: Ensure the doorbell is fully charged. High traffic areas or frequent live view access can increase battery consumption.
