SIM Card and TF Card Installation
The camera requires a 4G LTE SIM card (not included) for cellular connectivity and a TF card (up to 128GB, not included) for local storage. Locate the weather-sealed compartment on the camera body. Carefully open it using a small screwdriver. Insert the Nano-SIM card into the designated slot with the metal contacts facing down. Insert the TF card into its slot. Ensure both cards are securely seated before closing the compartment cover tightly to maintain weatherproofing.
Solar Panel Connection
Connect the provided 10W solar panel to the camera's power input port. Ensure the connection is secure and weather-tight. The solar panel will continuously charge the built-in 20,000mAh battery, providing uninterrupted power to the camera.
Mounting the Camera
Choose a suitable location for mounting the camera, ensuring optimal solar exposure for the panel and a clear view of the surveillance area. Download the official INQMEGA app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to create an account and add your camera. The app will guide you through the pairing process, typically involving scanning a QR code on the camera or connecting via Bluetooth.
Live View and Pan/Tilt Control
Once paired, access the live feed from your camera through the app. Use the on-screen controls to remotely pan (horizontal movement) and tilt (vertical movement) the camera, allowing for 360-degree coverage. The 36X optical zoom can be adjusted for detailed viewing.
Motion Detection and Alerts
The camera features PIR human detection with a range of up to 40ft. Configure detection zones and sensitivity settings within the app. Upon detecting human motion, the camera can automatically trigger a bright spotlight and a loud siren to deter intruders. Instant alerts will be sent to your smartphone.
