3.6 Electrical Connection
Connect the power cable to a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage and frequency match the specifications of the appliance. Do not use extension cords or adapters.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Loading the Dishwasher
Load dishes, cutlery, and cookware into the designated racks. Ensure items do not block the spray arms or detergent dispenser. Place larger items in the lower rack and delicate items in the upper rack. The cutlery basket should be used for forks, knives, and spoons.
4.2 Adding Detergent and Rinse Aid
Fill the detergent dispenser with the appropriate amount of dishwasher detergent. Check the rinse aid dispenser and refill if the indicator shows low levels. Rinse aid helps with drying and prevents water spots.
4.3 Program Selection and Features
Use the control panel (refer to Figure 2.3) to select your desired wash program. The dishwasher offers several programs and features for optimal cleaning:
- 6TH SENSE: This program utilizes intelligent sensors to continuously monitor the wash cycle and detect the level of dirt, adapting resource usage accordingly for efficient cleaning.
- MULTIZONE: If there are only a few dishes to wash, this option allows you to select a single basket (upper or lower) for washing, saving water and energy.
- DELAYED START: This feature allows you to set a specific time for the dishwasher to start its cycle, offering flexibility to run it during off-peak hours or when convenient.
- NATURAL DRY: This system automatically opens the dishwasher door at the end of the cycle, utilizing natural airflow to improve drying performance by up to 99% and reduce energy consumption by up to 40%.
- SPACE OPTIMIZER: The innovative design ensures a large loading capacity for all your dishes, even in a compact 45cm wide dishwasher.
4.4 Starting a Cycle
After loading and selecting the program, close the dishwasher door firmly. Press the Start button to begin the wash cycle. The display will show the remaining time.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your dishwasher.
5.1 Cleaning the Filters
The filter system should be cleaned regularly to prevent food particles from clogging the spray arms and affecting wash performance. Refer to the full manual for detailed instructions on how to remove and clean the coarse, fine, and micro filters.
5.2 Cleaning the Spray Arms
Periodically check the spray arm nozzles for blockages. If necessary, remove the spray arms and clean any clogged holes with a thin object like a toothpick.
5.3 Exterior Cleaning
Wipe the exterior surfaces of the dishwasher with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
5.4 Interior Cleaning
To prevent odors and maintain hygiene, run a dishwasher cleaning cycle periodically using a specialized dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar in an empty dishwasher.
