Setup Guide

1. Initial Setup and Pairing

The VOCOlinc Smart Tag pairs easily with your iOS device using the Apple Find My app. Follow these steps:

1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone and open the Find My app.
2. In the Find My app, tap the "+" icon and select "Add Other Item."
3. When the app begins searching, press and hold the center of your VOCOlinc Smart Tag for approximately 10 seconds until you hear a confirmation sound.
4. The app will display the tag's name. Follow the on-screen prompts to register and name your tag. Pairing typically completes within 30 seconds.

Operating Instructions

1. Finding Nearby Items

When your VOCOlinc Smart Tag is within Bluetooth range (up to 60 meters or 200 feet), you can use the Find My app to make it emit a loud sound (80-100 dB). This helps you quickly locate misplaced items within your immediate vicinity.

• Open the Find My app on your iPhone.
• Select your VOCOlinc Smart Tag from the 'Items' tab.
• Tap 'Play Sound' to activate the tag's buzzer.

2. Long-Distance Tracking with Apple Find My Network

3. Lost Mode

If your item is truly lost, you can enable Lost Mode in the Find My app. This allows you to:

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement

The VOCOlinc Smart Tag uses a replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery, offering up to 1 year of standby time. When the battery is low, you will receive a notification on your iPhone. To replace the battery:

1. Gently open the Smart Tag casing.
2. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
3. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
4. Close the casing securely.
