- Power Source: Connect the amplifier only to a power supply of the type described in this manual or marked on the unit. Ensure the voltage is compatible with your region.
- Ventilation: Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Avoid placing the unit on carpets or rugs that may obstruct airflow.
- Water and Moisture: Do not use this apparatus near water (e.g., bathtubs, sinks, swimming pools). Do not expose it to dripping or splashing liquids.
- Heat: Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

Control Panel Layout:
- Input Jack: Connect your bass guitar here using a standard 1/4" instrument cable.
- Clean Channel Controls:
- Volume: Adjusts the overall output level of the Clean channel.
- Low: Controls the bass frequencies of the Clean channel.
- Mid: Controls the midrange frequencies of the Clean channel.
- High: Controls the treble frequencies of the Clean channel.
- Overdrive Channel Controls:
- Gain: Adjusts the amount of distortion in the Overdrive channel.
- Shape: Modifies the tonal character of the Overdrive channel.
- Volume: Adjusts the overall output level of the Overdrive channel.
- Channel Switch: Toggles between the Clean and Overdrive channels.
- Power Switch: Turns the amplifier on or off.
- Headphone Output (PHONES): 1/8" (3.5mm) stereo jack for connecting headphones. Mutes the main speaker when in use.
- Auxiliary Input (AUX IN): 1/8" (3.5mm) stereo jack for connecting external audio sources like MP3 players or smartphones.
3. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your TS112 amplifier for the first time.
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the amplifier from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage during transit.
- Placement: Place the amplifier on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Avoid placing it directly against walls or in enclosed spaces.
- Power Connection: Ensure the amplifier's power switch is in the "OFF" position. Connect the provided power cord to the amplifier's power inlet and then to a suitable AC power outlet.
- Instrument Connection: Connect your bass guitar to the Input Jack using a standard 1/4" instrument cable.
- Initial Settings: Before powering on, set all volume and gain knobs to their minimum (counter-clockwise) positions. Set the tone controls (Low, Mid, High, Shape) to their center (12 o'clock) positions.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On and Off
- To power on, ensure all volume controls are at minimum, then flip the Power Switch to the "ON" position. The power indicator light will illuminate.
- To power off, turn all volume controls to minimum, then flip the Power Switch to the "OFF" position.
4.2 Using the Clean Channel
- Ensure the channel switch is set to the Clean channel.
- Slowly increase the Volume knob for the Clean channel to your desired listening level.
- Adjust the Low, Mid, and High knobs to shape your clean bass tone. Experiment with different settings to find your preferred sound.
4.3 Using the Overdrive Channel
- Flip the channel switch to the Overdrive channel.
- Start with the Gain and Volume knobs for the Overdrive channel at minimum.
- Slowly increase the Gain knob to introduce distortion.
- Adjust the Shape knob to modify the character of the distorted tone.
- Increase the Volume knob for the Overdrive channel to match the desired output level.
4.4 Using Headphones
- Connect your headphones to the PHONES (1/8" / 3.5mm) jack.
- The main speaker output will automatically mute, allowing for silent practice.
- Adjust the amplifier's volume controls to set the headphone listening level.
4.5 Using the Auxiliary Input
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX IN (1/8" / 3.5mm) jack using an appropriate audio cable.
- The volume of the auxiliary input is controlled by your external device. Adjust it to balance with your bass guitar's volume.
5. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your amplifier.
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the exterior of the amplifier with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the amplifier in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings are free from dust and debris. Use a soft brush or compressed air to gently clean them if necessary.
- Cable Care: Always handle power and instrument cables carefully. Avoid bending them sharply or placing heavy objects on them.
6. Troubleshooting
