4. Setup Guide

4.1. Battery Installation

  1. Ensure the walkie talkie is powered off.
  2. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit.
  3. Slide the cover down and remove it.
  4. Insert the Li-ion battery pack, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
  5. Replace the battery compartment cover and slide it up until it clicks into place.

4.2. Charging the Battery

  1. Place the walkie talkie into the charging base.
  2. Connect the USB charger to the charging base and then to a suitable USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  3. The indicator light on the charging base will turn red, indicating charging is in progress.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off and Volume Adjustment

  1. To power on, rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise until you hear a click and a voice prompt.
  2. To power off, rotate the Power/Volume knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click.
  3. Adjust the volume by rotating the Power/Volume knob clockwise to increase and counter-clockwise to decrease.

  1. Rotate the Channel Selector knob on the top of the walkie talkie to choose one of the 16 available channels.
  2. Ensure all walkie talkies intended for communication are set to the same channel.
