1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the ecozy SM-FS201C Slushie Machine. This appliance is designed to create a variety of frozen beverages, including slushies, frappes, milkshakes, and more, without the need for pre-made ice. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure safe and efficient use.

2. Important Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons.

• Read all instructions before use.
• Do not immerse the main unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

4. Setup

5.1 Adding Ingredients

1. Ensure the machine is plugged into a grounded electrical outlet.
2. Pour your desired liquid (juice, soda, chocolate milk, alcoholic beverages, etc.) into the transparent container.
3. Do not exceed the 'MAX 40oz' fill line and ensure the liquid is above the 'MIN 10oz' line for optimal performance.

• Power Button: Press to turn the machine on/off.
• Mode Selection: Use the touch screen icons to select your desired beverage type: Slushie, Frappe, Milkshake, Spiked Slushie, or Wine. Each mode has optimized settings for consistency.
• Thickness Adjustment: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the screen to adjust the desired thickness of your frozen beverage.
• Start/Pause Button: Press to begin the freezing process or to pause it.
• Clean Mode: Select this mode for automated cleaning (refer to Maintenance section).
• Control Lock: Activates a child lock feature to prevent accidental operation.
• Delay Start: Allows you to set a timer for the machine to begin operation at a later time.

5.3 Freezing Process

The ecozy Slushie Machine is designed for rapid refrigeration, producing slushies up to 20% faster, typically ready in about 20 minutes.

1. Once liquid is added and mode is selected, press the Start button.
2. The machine will begin the freezing and stirring process. The display will show the remaining time.
3. When the process is complete, the machine will indicate readiness.

5.4 Dispensing

Place a glass or cup under the dispensing spout and pull the lever to release the frozen beverage.

6.1 Daily Cleaning

1. After each use, empty any remaining liquid from the container.
2. Fill the container with clean water up to the 'MIN' line.
3. Select the 'Clean' mode on the control panel and press Start. The machine will perform an automated cleaning cycle, typically lasting about 4 minutes.
4. Once the cycle is complete, drain the water through the dispensing spout.
5. For thorough cleaning, detach the transparent container and dispensing spout and wash them with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry completely.
6. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.

6.2 Storage

When not in use for an extended period:

• Ensure the machine is thoroughly cleaned and dry.
• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• It is recommended to store the machine in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
