Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the Simmons Kids SlumberTime Emma Crib is designed to be simple. All necessary hardware for the crib configuration is included. For conversions, additional parts are required.

• Toddler Guardrail (#180125) for toddler bed conversion.
• Full Size Bed Rails (#0050) for full-size bed conversion with headboard and footboard.
• Standard full-size bed frame for full-size bed conversion with headboard only.
• Standard size crib mattress (sold separately).

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Mattress Height:

The mattress support can be adjusted to three different heights. This allows you to lower the mattress as your child grows and becomes more mobile, ensuring their safety.

1. Remove the mattress from the crib.
2. Carefully detach the mattress support from the side rails.
3. Re-attach the mattress support to the desired height setting, ensuring all hooks and supports are securely engaged.
4. Replace the mattress. Always ensure the mattress is at the lowest position before your child can stand.

Converting the Crib:

The crib can be converted into a toddler bed, daybed, sofa, or full-size bed. Each conversion requires specific steps and, in some cases, additional parts (sold separately).

• Toddler Bed: Remove the front rail and install the Toddler Guardrail (#180125).
• Daybed/Sofa: Remove the front rail. The included Daybed/Sofa Rail is used for this conversion.
• Full-Size Bed (Headboard & Footboard): Remove all crib rails and attach the Full Size Bed Rails (#0050) to the headboard and footboard.
• Full-Size Bed (Headboard Only): Remove all crib rails and attach a standard full-size metal bed frame to the headboard.

Maintenance and Care

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your crib.

• Cleaning: Wipe the crib surfaces with a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or strong chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
• Hardware: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten as necessary to maintain stability and safety.
• Storage: If disassembling for storage, keep all hardware in a sealed bag and store it with the crib components in a dry, temperate environment.

• Wobbling or Instability: Check all connections and ensure all bolts are securely tightened. Uneven flooring can also cause wobbling; try moving the crib to a level surface.
