  • Crown: Used for setting time and date.
  • Upper Pusher: Starts and stops the chronograph.
  • Lower Pusher: Resets the chronograph.
  • Main Dial: Displays hours, minutes, and seconds.
  • Chronograph Minute Sub-dial: Measures elapsed minutes for the chronograph.
  • 24-Hour Sub-dial: Indicates time in a 24-hour format.

3. Setup and Initial Adjustment

3.1 Setting the Time

  1. Pull the crown out to the second click position (farthest out).
  2. Turn the crown to adjust the hour and minute hands to the desired time. Ensure the 24-hour sub-dial also reflects the correct AM/PM (e.g., 18 for 6 PM).
  3. Push the crown back into the first click position to set the date, or fully back into the normal position to start the watch.

3.2 Setting the Date

  1. Pull the crown out to the first click position.
  2. Turn the crown (usually clockwise or counter-clockwise, depending on the movement) to adjust the date.
  3. Once the correct date is displayed, push the crown fully back into the normal position.

Note: Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the automatic date change mechanism and potentially damage the movement.

3.3 Adjusting the Bracelet

The stainless steel bracelet can be adjusted to fit your wrist. If the bracelet is too loose, links may need to be removed. It is recommended to have this adjustment performed by a professional watchmaker to prevent damage to the bracelet or the watch.

4. Operating the Chronograph

The chronograph function allows you to measure elapsed time.

  1. To Start: Press the upper pusher to begin timing. The chronograph second hand and minute sub-dial will start moving.
  2. To Stop: Press the upper pusher again to pause the timing. The elapsed time will be displayed.
  3. To Reset: After stopping the chronograph, press the lower pusher to reset all chronograph hands to their zero positions.

Note: Do not press the lower pusher while the chronograph is running, as this may damage the movement.

5. Special Features

5.1 Luminous Function

Image 5.1: The watch dial displaying its luminous hands and markers in low light conditions.

The hands and hour markers of your OLEVS watch are coated with a luminous material. After exposure to light, they will glow in the dark, allowing for easy time reading in low-light conditions. The intensity and duration of the glow depend on the exposure time and intensity of light.

5.2 Water Resistance (3ATM)

Image 5.2: The watch demonstrating its water resistance against splashes.

This watch is water-resistant to 3 ATM (30 meters / 100 feet). This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. However, it is not suitable for showering, swimming, diving, or any activities involving hot water or prolonged water exposure. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

6. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and perspiration. For stainless steel, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry one.
  • Avoid Chemicals: Do not expose the watch to solvents, detergents, perfumes, or cosmetic sprays, as these can damage the gasket, case, or bracelet.
  • Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) or sudden temperature changes, which can affect accuracy and water resistance.
  • Magnetic Fields: Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields (e.g., speakers, refrigerators, mobile phones) as they can affect the quartz movement's accuracy.
  • Battery Replacement: The watch is powered by a quartz movement, which requires a battery. When the watch stops or runs erratically, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
