1. Setup and Initial Use

1.1 Battery Installation and Charging

1. Unscrew Tail Cap: Rotate the tail cap counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.
2. Insert Battery Pack: Insert the provided rechargeable battery pack with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
3. Secure Tail Cap: Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is fully tightened.
4. Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the flashlight. The Javelot Turbo 2 supports dual charging options:
   • Magnetic Charging: Attach the magnetic charging cable to the tail cap. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status.
   • USB-C Charging: Locate the hidden USB-C port by rotating the protective cover near the head of the flashlight. Insert a USB-C cable.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Basic Operation

• Power On/Off: Press the side switch once to turn the flashlight on or off.
• Change Brightness Levels: When the flashlight is on, press and hold the side switch to cycle through brightness levels (Low, Medium, High). Release the switch to select the desired level.
• Turbo Mode: Double-press the side switch quickly to activate Turbo mode (1800 lumens, 1500-meter throw). Double-press again to return to the previous mode.
• Strobe Mode: Triple-press the side switch quickly to activate Strobe mode. Press once to exit.
• Lockout/Unlock: When the flashlight is off, press and hold the side switch for approximately two seconds until the light briefly flashes, indicating lockout mode. To unlock, press and hold the side switch for approximately two seconds until the light turns on at the lowest setting.

2.2 Wireless Remote Control

The Javelot Turbo 2 includes a wireless remote for convenient operation from a distance of up to 8 meters.

• Pairing: The remote is pre-paired with the flashlight. If re-pairing is needed, refer to the specific instructions provided with the remote.
• Remote Operation:
  • Momentary On (Maximum Brightness): Press and hold the remote button.
  • Constant On (Maximum Brightness): Press the remote button once.
• Remote Charging: The remote charges via a magnetic dock located on the side of the flashlight. Ensure the remote is securely attached to the dock for charging.

2. Insert Battery: Insert one AAA battery (alkaline or rechargeable) with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
3. Secure Head: Screw the head back on clockwise until it is fully tightened.

The I3T 2 is compatible with both standard AAA alkaline batteries and rechargeable AAA batteries. Using a rechargeable battery can boost the maximum output to 300 lumens.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Basic Operation

• Power On/Off: Press the tail switch once to turn the flashlight on or off.
• Change Brightness Levels: When the flashlight is on, quickly turn it off and on again to cycle between Low and High modes. The flashlight can be initially powered on in your preferred low or high mode depending on your needs.
• Momentary On: Half-press and hold the tail switch for momentary illumination. Release to turn off.
