5. Setup Guide

  1. Unpack the Device: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Connect Probes: Connect the pH and other sensor probes to their respective ports on the main unit. Ensure connections are secure.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the device and then to a suitable AC power outlet.
  4. Mounting (Optional): Use the accessory kit and suction cup to mount the main unit on a wall or side of an aquarium, ensuring it is kept dry. The main unit is not waterproof.
  5. Probe Placement: Submerge the sensor probes into the water you wish to monitor. Ensure the probes are fully immersed but the main unit remains dry.
  6. App Installation: Download the Tuya Smart app from your mobile device's app store (available for iOS and Android).
  7. Device Pairing: Open the Tuya app, register or log in, and follow the in-app instructions to add the YY-W9909 device. This typically involves enabling Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone and following the device's pairing mode instructions.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Real-time Monitoring

Once the device is set up and connected to the Tuya app, you can view real-time water quality data directly on the device's display and within the app. The app provides a comprehensive overview of all measured parameters.

6.2. Data Logging and Analysis

The app automatically records data over time, allowing you to view daily, weekly, and monthly trends. This historical data is crucial for understanding water quality changes and formulating appropriate solutions for your aquatic environment.

6.3. Alarm Settings

You can set custom alarm thresholds for each parameter within the Tuya app. If a measurement falls outside your defined safe range, the app will send a notification reminder to your mobile device.
