4. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your pet fountain for first use:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
  2. Clean Components: Wash the ceramic base, ceramic top lid, and flower spout with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. The ceramic parts are dishwasher-safe.
  3. Prepare Filter: Rinse the filter under cold running water for several minutes to remove any loose carbon dust.
  4. Assemble Pump: Attach the filter tray to the water pump. Ensure the sponge filter is placed correctly in the filter tray, followed by the carbon filter.
  5. Place Pump: Position the assembled pump and filter tray into the designated area in the ceramic base.
  6. Fill Water Reservoir: Fill the ceramic base with clean water up to the maximum fill line. Do not overfill. The fountain has a 3L (101oz) capacity.
  7. Place Top Lid: Carefully place the ceramic top lid onto the base, ensuring it sits securely.
  8. Install Flower Spout (Optional): If desired, insert the flower spout into the opening on the ceramic top lid for a bubbling water flow. For a gentle fountain flow, the flower spout can be omitted.
  9. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the fountain's pump cable, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Once assembled and plugged in, the WOPET W03 Lite Ceramic Cat Water Fountain will begin operating automatically, circulating and filtering water for your pet.

5.1 Water Flow Options

The fountain offers two distinct water flow designs:

  • Flower Waterfall: Achieved by installing the flower spout. This provides a bubbling, multi-stream flow that many pets find appealing.
  • Gentle Fountain: Achieved by removing the flower spout. Water gently bubbles up from the center, creating a calm surface flow.

5.2 Water Level Monitoring

Regularly check the water level to ensure the pump is always submerged. The 3L capacity can provide hydration for up to 5 days, but this may vary based on pet size, number of pets, and environmental factors. Refill as needed to prevent the pump from running dry, which can shorten its lifespan.

5.3 Ultra-Quiet Operation

The W03 Lite features an ultra-quiet pump designed to operate at approximately 30dB, minimizing noise disturbance for both pets and owners.

6.1 Disassembly for Cleaning

  1. Unplug the fountain from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the ceramic top lid and flower spout.
  3. Remove the filter tray and filter.
  4. Carefully remove the water pump from the ceramic base.
  5. Empty any remaining water from the ceramic base.

6.2 Cleaning the Fountain Components

  • Ceramic Parts: The ceramic base and top lid are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, wash them with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  • Pump: Disassemble the pump by removing the front cover and impeller. Clean all parts with a small brush to remove any hair or debris. Rinse thoroughly.
